It is different than CD. Male centred but there is a group work with slight romance. There are two couples and the chemistry is fine to me since I am not into heavy one.

Characters are not perfect. They make wrong choices and pay for them. Our male lead is not strong but he is smart. Other characters have faults too. If you are interested in romance with crime , this is not a right choice. If you are interested in suspicion , crime , cases in the cases situation, WD is the drama you are looking for.

For Yesha to get info from the squad ? It could be but it seems she is part of the squad in next episodes. Why does she change sides then ? Gosh, it is really confusing.

The thing that bothered me was exactly the thing you said. He was brother to current emperor , he was son to old emperor despite he was imposter but writer didn’t give him character achievement , a position to have a say about the state. He was talented but writer portrayed a crown prince as useless sidekick to Ml not to overshadow him. They didn’t even exactly show what he was doing at the end. Leaving with the girl who he fell in love and not minding the state even though he is the only one apart from his bro was one of the most stupid ending I have ever watched.

She was not only a coroner but also a detective and a miraculer 😂 She cured everyone , she solved every case and she found every criminal. She was kinda goddess of healing and crime lol. While I was watching , I kinda felt that I was watching a fairytale show with a crime. Evil relatives , a handsome prince who does everything for her , close friends who always supports her without hesitation, and a talented , good but a poor girl who seeks justice. There were even heavenly grannies lol. I am okay with all these but yes she isn’t a realistic character or she doesn’t have a realistic story apart of the plot twist at the end.

The thing I criticized was that he was only useful despite his position. I mean , he was in the middle of this story but writer did nothing about him. I couldn’t agree more with the supporting cast btw. They just stood there to be used by Fl and Ml story without having their own storyline. It was awful.

WD characters share different occupations in their squad and also share different cases. All cases are related to different characters. Tailor is related to Xueman’s dad , Huo case is related to Huo Dai Rong etc. but they are related to Yesha case at the same time. I respect all ideas but I prefer a group of people’s story to a one man show or fl centered story.

She knows Bei Ming and she is from Haiya. I don’t think she is evil ( I hope so) , but she is definitely not a weak lady who wants to know her origins. She could be a former assassin , a kind of agent who sneak into the squad or an official from another unit but she is definitely sth.

And she is exactly my type.

Still suspicious about Huo Dai Rong’s identity. It is sad to see Tong Shuang’s past and Xiao Bei Ming’s pain.

Plus , I think Yesha is not only an evil who wants to revenge of the people in Haiya. There is more that brings him to get people’s oil and blood to make a red crystal.

I think they have a problem with Fl but I am okay with her characterization.

Both of them are imposter’s sons but writer didn’t give Yan Li a scene and position even though his status is same as Yan Chi. That was disrespectful.

I don’t mind the number of episodes but the portrayal of the characters is essential to me and I hope it has a nice one.

I will watch LOFG too but I don’t understand why you guys spread hate on this drama. We are almost halfway through it and it is really decent.

Not sure if we watched the same drama cuz fl is way different than you portrayed in your review.

Been waiting for this for a long time. I hope it won’t disappoint me.

Yan Li was the crown prince and he learned his father’s identity in the last episode and he had a bare reaction to him. I know he doesn’t mind palace issues but why didn’t they choose him as a king ? Why didn’t they show his scenes ?

I liked the cases , the story , the plot twist, the characters , the palace drama but it lacked chemistry. I didn’t get any sense between ML and FL. There was no misunderstanding. It was a healthy relationship but FL was too flat. She was always right and perfect and I couldn’t remember how many times she was kidnapped or she was in danger. Poor ml went everywhere from fire to water or snow.

Yan Li was one of the important figures in main plot and we just watched him as a useless sidekick. SFL had a potential to outshine Fl , had a nice story to tell but we barely saw her. ML was a supporter character to FL even though he was a general. Man just gave up his title to help Fl lol.

I enjoyed CD and the story like I enjoy WD but I think there is nothing wrong with comparing the characters’ interactions with each other and the position of the supporting cast. Even in one man shows, supporting characters can shine and have his own story and time and that doesn’t make one man less popular. I’m just saying that this is a choice, CD didn’t choose it and WD has it. Plus , this issue is a different matter than the ml /fl centered stories or the plot itself.

and that answers why yesha choose Bei Ming instead of someone else.

And there is no specific group or saving things. Bei Ming and Feng back up each other , XueMan takes Tong Shuang , Feng and Shuang mocking each other, Dairong has talk with every single member even though she is new. Each member can save the other or each member’s life or problem matters. Since friendship is good, I don’t need romantic scenes or etc and that makes this drama good and different from CD.
