Sorry for the long comments btw. It was like a little criticism of the drama. No more comments any more 😂.

I finished the drama two days ago and I thought that final episode was nice but when I look it back , I see that it is not wrapped up well. No offense to ZKY fans but I think he is there to fill the gap TS left but he is not enough to make it. He was good as a rival but he was meh as a friend. I also like ZKG as a character but his dynamic with Bei Ming is overrated.

Choosing TS as Yesha was a good move to shock the audience but writers should have chosen a stronger (not physically) character than him. Yesha’s identity was represented so well that it was logically irrational for me that a sidekick who close to Bei Ming was Yesha. Since I know him as TS who is narratively and positionally weak for a long time , Even now , I don’t think he is capable of all these super uper plans.
Plus , it was awkward he looks younger when he is actually older.

I think it was a last minute decision to get the attention of audience but it just disappointed me cuz I waited for bigger name.

Bei Ming was raised in a healthy environment. He was taught what it means “good” and “bad”. He didn’t get any trauma while building his personality. He himself was a spoiled brat at the beginning of the drama. He had a group of people even he was a fugitive so his claims about doing the right thing even in bad times were shallow. He wasn’t even tested with bullying , survival or hunger in his younger times. He might be a good detective but I think he lacks empathy.

TS was a kinda TJJ of TTEOM. I understand he is evil but I don’t blame him for being evil cuz that was the way he was raised. That was the only thing he was taught. He was just unlucky not having a good teacher or relative.

Plus , at the end of the drama , putting all the blame on Yesha as if all these officials and generals did nothing was meaningless. They all did a massacre but Bei Ming still praises to his teacher like he was an angel. If he turned back his brother because he is a monster or ki**er, he must’ve done the same thing to Generals and the others but he didn’t. Yes he wanted that Haiya case must open to the public but what about the people these generals ki**ed ? Taking orphans and raising them doesn’t cover up the fact they were all Yesha.

I m speechless. I can’t believe that second Yesha is the character who impressed me most. Their bond with Bei Ming , two scenes that they face each other amazed me.

Still I can’t help myself from crying over TS. He wasn’t not a bloodthirsty maniac who loves murder. He was obsessed and traumatized kid who couldn’t get over the things he lived. I believe his TS side was real. He really cared about his brother but his Yesha side destroyed TS. I can’t get over how he protected his formal friends from the pill. He is one of the most sinful people in the drama but I can’t hate him.

Only thing that bothers me about their story is Fenq Qing Zhuo’s reaction about the mark Bei Hai left. He didn’t even react. May be his master did sth about it , huh ?

Omg. It really makes sense. Zhong Yun Chi takes one kid and gives another to Bei Hai’s brother not a stranger. They are both raised well and don’t know each other until Yesha comes back. Feng Qing Zhou has also Xiao surname which is his mother’s name. I can’t believe that I couldn’t realize such a simple thing before.

If Yesha is a person , I agree that he must know poison , zombie pill well but I think that Yesha must be older enough as well to know all these massacre , orphans , Haiya secrets. All criminals knew their identities and what they did. Yesha must have informed them before.

6 eps left and none of them died till now.

Final is 6 episodes away and we still have limited info about Yesha. We still don’t know Yesha is a person or organization. Maybe it is just a nickname representing people who want revenge or power.

Worth watching. It has slight romance btw.

I liked his cocky attitude too but this humble version is much better 😂

This drama is mind blowing and way better than CD. It seems fan wars ruined the ratings. Plus, We all know that mdl’s rating is not a reliable source since most of the viewers prioritize the actors and actresses rather than the story.
