Without Huaizhu’s decision , Hongye would be the best father to his son. We watched how protective and caring he wwas in LP. It was her “Soldier” decision that pushed Hongye to be more strict.

Big respect to the actor but I couldn’t watch his “good boy” roles because of his character “Bai Ling” for a while jsjs

Hongye ‘s message to his son was very heart touching. “You are my son not a soldier. You don’t have to endure all this pain with me anymore. Go and enjoy your life.” he meant.

Fugui can leave but he can’t. He is like a prisoner in that manor since his childhood. His dad left him and his sister and he had to endure all stupid political or other stuff on his own. He tried to escape from this fate once with mask group and lost everything. His father’s cursed followed him but Hongye didn’t let that same thing happen to his son.

And even his son leaves to draw his own way. Hongye knows it and lets him go. He is really one of the loneliest people in the world.

Even in this part , Hongye keeps losing his beloved ones. I don’t know who is the best person or the worst but I can say he is the most suffering person in this world. Dying is like an award for him but he has to live for others. It seems he is really cursed with losing. Such a tragedy for him.

He doesn’t even have a right to die because of his Wangquan title lol Let this man breathe a little please. I know he is not a good father but how can’t people see that he is a wall that hold Yiqi from bad things to Fugui ? His best wish is to die but without him , how can Fugui get along with all these people and trouble ?

In dongua , most of the events happen in modern world. The scenes we saw in three dramas are old versions of modern characters so it is normal for LP to eliminate “matchmaker” part because of its ending but I don’t understand why they did same to Sword and Beloved. I thought because of the bad reputation of first part but this one changed my mind. Does it mean that this drama has BE or open one ?

In donghua , he dies after Fugui kill is the Black Fox but not sure for the drama.

Well said. Evil demons , yi qi alliance who try to kill him, black fox who never leaves him alone etc. Everyone expects him to have a different role. He has so many pressure on his shoulders that , I don’t think he has a time for hate or sadness. Nobody realizes that he is a walking corpse except one person.

It is a slow burn but it doesn’t have divorce era.

For LP couple ?

Like in LP , there are many side villains but the main villain is a purple smoke.( The Black Fox)

His mother herself agreed with Yi Qi alliance about Fugui so letting him go is not that easy for Hongye even if he is his father. He has almost zero relationship with his dad but I don’t remember he said he wanted to quit till now.

His father’s passion is not for himself. He worries about his son’s and other realms’ future. Cuz he himself experienced how the world will be in chaos if Black Fox becomes strong.

His hatred is only for himself. He hates
for being weak , for not being able to protect others. If his sadness possessed him , his attitude to Fugui would have been different. I don’t see him blaming Fugui. I don’t see that he uses Fugui as a weapon to ease his sadness or hatred. Hongye left these kind of feelings after he saw Black Fox. But if he had cared about his own feelings, Fugui and him wouldn’t have that kind of relationship.

Plus , I am not sure we watch the same drama because every demon Fugui destroyed was evil. The one who destroys the demons is not Hongye. He is the one who is the in the danger of being destroyed because of his power and place both by other humans and Black Fox herself.

Doesn’t need to watch FSMM. they are not related with each other except Black Fox.

Yes that is it. It isn’t the same thing with hate. Even Hongye himself doesn’t hate anyone or especially demons. Why would he raise Fugui like that ?

Def. He uses his own way to protect him from the emotional damage but he hurts him at the same time.

I thought that Hongye understood he can’t change the fate but it seems he needs a little time to learn it. Cuz no matter what he does, he can’t hide Fugui or protect him from everything and everyone else. He just needs to let him go.

I was here especially for the relationship between father and son and these 5 episodes really served me. These two goats really care for each other, worry about each other and love each other but the wall Hongye built between them makes things complicated. I can understand Hongye is scared of losing him and he cares him secretly because of the things he had in past but Fugui really needs him. I hope Hongye understands it soon.

Plus , I saw some comments claiming that Fugui was raised to hate but I don’t agree with these. If he was raised with hatred , he wouldn’t have been someone who cares others today. Neither Fugui nor Hongye are not kind of these people and never been. They are just ice people who hide their feelings. That’s all.

Side Note : I really missed Li Qu Zhou 大哥. It is nice to see him again.

One side of him will absolutely go mad while other side of him understands his son.

Hongye definitely raised another version of him and now he has to bear with him 😂
