the comments section here is so lively. it consistently does 2k+ everyday which is very impressive considering some dramas from start to finish only have 2k comments. i check back every few hours and there's always so much new interesting things to read haha!
I've seen people get labelled "haters" just for calling out racism. Calling out racism doesn't make you…
kpop and kdrama have been banned in china for almost a decade now lol. i doubt people in china even care. chinese people are also the punching bags in asia so no, it won't be 100 times worst. if anything, if those southeast asians were crying about chinese instead of koreans you'd have way more people joining in.
I'm saying you automatically went with "Aww.. that's too bad. South East Asia has hot people too" when nobody even said they were unattractive! you just assumed ZLH meant that he thought they were ugly. you are in a way telling on yourself that you think SEA are unattractive or at least it comes off this way.
if he said that he looked European would you say "aww that's too bad Europe has hot people too"? my bet's on no because you don't assume he's saying looking European is bad, but you assumed looking SEA is bad thus your reassurance.
i think the idea that people automatically assume he's referring to them as unattractive is the problem or the fact that you assume he's referring to SEA people as unattractive is part of the problem, you are in a way, telling on yourself.
What is this Han thing and Non-Han thing that khitan emperor is saying in ep 12 ending? i know majority of chinese…
liu zhiyuan became the king and founded the later han dynasty but this khitan emperor is saying he's (li zhiyuan) not han himself but he names his kingdom under a han name. liu zhiyuan belongs to a shatuo ethnic group which is a kind of turkic steppe people. the shatuo people were very assimilated to han culture at the time.
chinese history is just a bunch of steppe people invading china and then ruling and becoming assimilated. this repeats itself constantly all the way into the qing dynasty which was the last dynasty. the rulers were manchus who ruled from the 1600s to the 1900s but through ruling china they became more and more han. the last emperor puyi couldn't even speak manchu. today, manchu identity still exists but the culture and writing largely did not survive as most manchus are just like hans now.
I don’t know.. i was kinda expecting FL to crack out of that stoicism but she keeps it all the way towards to end LMAO. A better ending would be to love each other but each go their separate ways instead of having the ML pull the ultimate simp move! The relationship felt so one sided IMO.
Guys, from my perspective, Pei Zhen’s (SML) character is quite fascinating. His reels have been going viral…
I think he’s doing a great job portraying this evil mastermind who’s cool calm and collected. He really captures my attention when he’s on screen even though i don’t really like the character itself.
I honestly don't understand why it's bothering so many people. If it was the other way around people would accept…
I disagree! Men have always been in charge since the beginning of humanity! Which is why the patriarchy is a thing no matter what culture you come from. Isn’t men being in charge the simplest form of might makes right? If women were to disagree what are they to do? They can’t beat the living hell out of men as women are the naturally weaker gender. Even today with all this talk about gender equality, a child born will still take after a man’s last name. Religion also seems to govern women more than it governs men.
if he said that he looked European would you say "aww that's too bad Europe has hot people too"? my bet's on no because you don't assume he's saying looking European is bad, but you assumed looking SEA is bad thus your reassurance.
are you saying Netflix has been compromised as well? go troll elsewhere.
