I don’t know.. i was kinda expecting FL to crack out of that stoicism but she keeps it all the way towards to end LMAO. A better ending would be to love each other but each go their separate ways instead of having the ML pull the ultimate simp move! The relationship felt so one sided IMO.
Guys, from my perspective, Pei Zhen’s (SML) character is quite fascinating. His reels have been going viral…
I think he’s doing a great job portraying this evil mastermind who’s cool calm and collected. He really captures my attention when he’s on screen even though i don’t really like the character itself.
I honestly don't understand why it's bothering so many people. If it was the other way around people would accept…
I disagree! Men have always been in charge since the beginning of humanity! Which is why the patriarchy is a thing no matter what culture you come from. Isn’t men being in charge the simplest form of might makes right? If women were to disagree what are they to do? They can’t beat the living hell out of men as women are the naturally weaker gender. Even today with all this talk about gender equality, a child born will still take after a man’s last name. Religion also seems to govern women more than it governs men.
Wait, what was the purpose of the FL deceiving the ML about her sister's fake-death? They really made a thing…
Her spidey sense tells her that he has his memories back. So she’s back to being unsure of his purpose in her home and he’s back to snooping around and investigating her household.
Okay, I first thought FL went to ML's room to create an alibi for herself but it's starting to look more and more likely that FL had nothing to do with the murder of the Yang guy? So it was a "follow your heart" moment for the FL perhaps? Maybe she had a plan that didn't need to be executed because someone coincidentally killed him that same night? I have so many questions!
Because for yrs chinese people have one child rule so its common to call that to your cousin it makes sense
lol no that's not why wtf? this is a cultural thing. your mother's side, cousins are "biao" brother/sister and your cousins from your father's side but only his brothers is "tang" brother/sister and his sisters are still "biao". usually the father's side is closer so it just becomes brother/sister.
both their names zhao and mu together is a Chinese idiom. I'd imagine if you weren't Chinese that would gets missed a lot.
Also Jin Zhao's nickname that his friends call him which is like "you jiu" which translates to "have alcohol" but it is also a pun because there's a chinese saying "JIN ZHAO YOU JIU jin zhao zui"(今朝有酒今朝醉). the subtitles completely butchered the explanation when FL asked why they call him "you jiu".
Mistranslation. It’s why we sometimes get the weirdest drama titles. 😆
but what's wrong with what he said? he's getting charged a foreigner fee so he jokingly said that he'd make his face darker. can we agree that this wouldn't have been a problem at all if black people didn't feel inferior about their own skin color? if he said he made his skin whiter in Europe nobody would care at all.
Was ep 25 an editing mistake? cause in the CP's flashback of the FL and him in quicksand where she pulled him out, she never said he was the most important person after her dad. But in his flashback she said it. Was that an editing mistake or was the CP delulu? I had to run it back just to make sure I wasn't crazy LOL.
