50% flashbacks... Should have just done a 10 episode season and save the flashbacks as a prequel or something.…
yeah, agreed ... i'm honestly struggling to finish due to all the flashbacks which is a shame because i really liked the beginning eps :( i wish the flashbacks were more linear at least, and not a back and forth of present and past.. felt like the present was getting good and then we got like 10 consecutive eps of flashbacks which totally killed the flow for me
wow the violence and gore in episodes 10 and 11 .... way more than i expected lol. the dad's backstory is more interesting than the mom's though, but i still think they could have cut all the flashbacks by at least half the episodes...
on episode 9 so far and i'm actually way more invested in the kids' stories than the adults' past ... like all the flashbacks episodes with the adults feel so draggy to me. also, probably unpopular opinion but I'm not really a fan of HHJ's acting...

nah, i don't mean anything bad by it, just my own personal thoughts - i know they've worked together multiple times already so this isn't me taking a shot at her lol. i just haven't watched any of the dramas yet where they're paired together as the main leads but i was planning on maybe starting this one.

loved all the characters, even the villains!! when all them are just really good actors, it just elevates a drama so much and CHENG YI!!! i've always loved his acting but it's even more amazing when he's given a good script/storyline
loved how there was minimal romance, it's mostly just all of them setting out on their adventures and solving mysteries together :')
this is really disappointing tbh ... i was really looking forward to this drama but based on the reviews here, it's mediocre at best .... and i cant stand bad acting , especially from any of the leads which is a shame bc i was planning on watching this for yuxi@@
