good lord im on episode 4 and in joo is just frustratingly dense, naive and just plain dumb omfg

can we take this off the airing list so that i don't have to get disappointed for the umpteenth time until we get firm confirmation

one of the best xanxias for me so far, it was short and sweet and visually stunning

today's episodes end on a not-so-positive cliffhanger so if you want something light and fluffy to watch, i would probably go for something else today haha

i think that's also what makes it so frustrating bc while i understand he's under a lot of pressure to release the soldiers AND save her life, the method he's using is by lying to orchid even after telling her they'll face everything together. like... i guess he doesn't trust her not to do something drastic like sacrifice herself? but then again, he hasn't told her anything so she can't even work together with him to figure out an alternate solution, ya know?

but then again, this is a xanxia and i think i should be grateful that relatively healthy communication even exists for like 80% of the show LOL

i loved episode 29 but good lord episode 30 was so frustrating to watch LOL dfqc saying he won't lie to her anymore and then !!! lying to her next episode !! things falling apart due to these lies !!

i'm beginning to really love orchid though, bc she is 100% relatable. i love how her reaction to changheng telling her about her identity isn't to be like OMG you're right, dfqc is my enemy now bc he killed my family!! nope, she still stands by her beliefs - these people changheng are telling her about may have been her parents, but they're pretty much strangers to her while dfqc, jl & other people in the moon realm are her newfound family and how could she abandon them for people she's never even known?

anyone else already dreading the 4 day wait after today's episodes? LOL

after LLTG and LBFAD ends, i'm not sure what i'll be watching anymore :(

the way i screeched when orchid was the one proposing and asking him to be her husband omfg love the role reversal (and them arguing before this about who gets to say their bit first lolol)

i am a huge fan of FLs having their powers manifested to protect their loved ones and then having kickass music in the background haha (L&R and now LBFAD!)

ahhh i totally forgot but i actually did try watching the long ballad! only for a couple of eps though before i dropped it because i wasn’t too sure of the story/FL but i’m thinking i’ll give it a try again for him haha

also WOW rating went up to 9.0!! well deserved

just finished watching all episodes!

i'm satisfied/happy with the ending, and while i agree with a lot of people that 53-56 ish felt a bit rushed, i think they still tied things up nicely and it doesn't detract away from the love that i have for the whole show. 48-52 though ... wow, emotionally gut wrenching and all the tears i shed was really something lol

this was my first wu lei drama and he was absolutely phenomenal, hands down - but lusi was also fantastic, and god that scene with her in episode 55? i definitely teared up

all in all, this was such a great show and i'm glad i started watching this early on! i loved following all the analyses and reactions here for all the eps and im sad that it's now over :'( really hoping we get another wu lei and lusi drama in the future!!
