It was a solid drama. Though one has to wonder how with some many stab wounds he was still standing. The sheer loss of blood alone, but also that sword injury. He was standing up on it, no issues. However, DO was just phenomenal. He’s made for being a villain. I’ve never disliked one show with him, whether 100 days or bad prosecutor, he’s always good but he just showed how unhinged he can act. It’s the first episode where Seon U actually annoyed me. He clearly sees his son adores ha yeon and she quite likes him too. The way he’s holding on Da Rim is truly disheartening at this point. And she could have told Ji hyeok this time. She should suspect that he won’t endanger her job. First difficult episode. Less comedy. I quite liked the nascent relationship between their mothers. It better move on from that lie.
I just saw pictures on SNS of her brother. I don’t know when this was filmed but that kid became a teen very fast. Even his snotty friend has grown up a lot.
I don’t remember how the best friend dies in the Webtoon and I wished that they closed that chapter at the half point so that the different characters had more story. I really wanted to see more about the colleague and how she dealt with that husband and the sister. I think the main actress was way better than anything park min young could offer and though I don’t find the main actor in the least attractive, I love how he acts. I’ve seen a few shows with him and he’s always amazing. It was a pretty good adaptation of the Webtoon, way closer to the few episodes I’ve seen of the Korean one.
