not to sound dramatic but i really think i wont be able to feel happiness for the rest of the week. the acting was so good, especially yusei, he did such an incredible job with expressing kiyoi's emotions with his body/face my heart dropped with every line he spoke.
the most painful part about this for me at least is that those final scenes showed that hira never Listened to kiyoi. it brought me back to s1 when kiyoi has his 'what a king, what a joke...' monologue where hes practically begging hira to at least see him as a human to an extent where hira would be able to say/do what he wants with kiyoi instead of hurting kiyoi by never acting on his own true emotions. even if it clicked for that night it obviously didnt stay in hira's head and it hurts my heart to think about how kiyoi felt
in the novel (idk how it will go in the show) he kidnaps kiyoi out of jealousy, hira comes to save him and kiyoi thinks hira has been stabbed by him since the fan of anna had a knife
utsukare season 2 is seriously the greatest thing to happen to society. i cannot put into words how stupidly HAPPY i am watching these episodes like i literally sit there giggling taking 2 hours to get through a 24 minute episode because theyre just that good.
kiyoi (who is So cute this season to the point its painful) trying is best with his goofy ass boyfriend thats utterly obsessed with him is just so much fun to watch. like hira and his stupid and weird and loser behaviours are just so entertaining i burst out laughing when he pulls out the 'disguise' or holds up kiyoi's nasty hot pot like its bread at mass.
doha is so cute and sweet. i relate to him on a different level of working hard but still not improving the way you want. im rooting for his success and that he gets the improvements he wants as its clear he works hard for them.
