in short, the dark haired boy and the blonde guy are a couple and the girl is best friends with the dark haired boy but they become a trio friendship group.
the blonde boy has homophobic parents so the girl suggests that she has the baby of one of them to appease his parents (its so sick because she does it for a selfish reasons and inserts herself into their relationship constantly). the blonde agrees and the dark haired boy is kinda just being shoved along with everything and pushed out of his own relationship because his boyfriend hates himself and his best friend is selfish and has issues. keep in mind the dark haired boy and girl are both barely adults (the blonde was a uni student when he met the boy and girl when they were in highschool). the dark haired boy is still a kid especially :( he's just a baby.
they have this weird sex thing together because both boys are gay and wouldn't be able to do it just with her alone. they both try with her but the blonde goes behind the dark haired boy's back with the girl and tries more and she eventually gets pregnant (with the blonde's child) but when this happens they lie to the to the dark haired boy and try and make him seem like it's his child to make him 'stay' in their weird fucked up situation because he figures out hes not the father from her cycle of pregnancy, and that they went behind his back. that's a short summary but it's really really sickening to watch. the girl and blonde are vile.
god this is so good. the acting is just PERFECT. tomoda koki completely embodies his character (his voice also makes my head spin) and nishimura takuya is doing incredibly for his first proper main role, the angel role was written for him. the chemistry really shocks me, i wasn't expecting it to be this good . every scene between them feels so inimate it makes my heart hurt
question - the convo in jail kind of lost me. i didnt get why naomi said he couldn't see him grow bald and then jumped to saying this would be the last time they meet.. and then maki brushing over it and describing how they'll travel the world together, i was very lost
i feel so much pain. the third part pissed me off so much because even if they wanted to go with that ending the…
they fought like that so they could touch eachother as neither of them ever gained the courage to confess or kiss the other and that was the way they could feel physical contact from eachother in a way they could brush off in their heads as just 'fighting'. i seriously don't usually care for kiss scenes but i feel like just one between them would've brought eachother and the viewer so much peace, or at least the ability to live life knowing that they both felt the same.
god i cried so much. the way you could so clearly envision them living that life, travelling the world together whilst sorting out their shit along the way. it would've been so interesting to see the story go that way. there would be fights, pain, anger, and make them face their supression but it would also ultimately lead to them being together and maybe im a romanticist but i would've much rather seen that than this ending :( (im not sure if i explained my idea of their 'what could of been plotline' well. my head hurts from crying
i feel so much pain. the third part pissed me off so much because even if they wanted to go with that ending the 'way' of getting there didn't make sense eat all. naomi wouldn't do that let alone not want to see maki again/not try and find him.
there was so so so much unsaid between them it makes my heart hurt. i know it's extremely clear how they felt about eachother through their actions but there was still soooo much that should've been said or done :(
it got very confusing with all the names after the middle twist . my favourite part of the movie was the character of naruse in the later part but ironically he was the character i didn't undersand at all. i didn't get why he inserted himself sm into kawata's life or why he talked to sally or how he knew sm etc etc. loved him though
