So likely this closing ceremony will be the next time Tencent releases some photos. Hope to see WuLu together 😍 We did see them together in the booting ceremony but they didn’t really know each other well then…

I’m not sure about another drama in December. Wasn’t mentioned in her schedule. I also hope she can take a nice long break before her next filming. I’ve read a few melons about future pairings but they are mostly unconfirmed . There are even a few that mentioned future cooperation with Wu Lei again and I’m hoping that one will be real. Imagine seeing WuLu couple dramas back to back two times!?

More great casts revealed- just as shooting is almost over. I saw Lusi’s Dec schedule and seems like she has about 5 days commercial shootings from 16 Dec. So perhaps LLTG will wrap up shooting just before then. 🤔

Terrible, this joins the growing list of cdramas that end with cliff hangers without season 2 in sight. To read the novel… I feel like I booked a bus ticket from Rome to Milan, the bus broke down halfway and I need to walk the rest of the journey 😅

I think the producers tried to be creative n artistic but it backfired in quite a few areas - the final separate frame was meant for viewers to extend our imagination but many of us just wanted to see them together. Period. Likewise the inclusion of manhwa n those infamous parrots were an exercise in creativity but they really backfired big time. Without those creative twiddling I’m sure the viewer ratings would be even higher.

The wait is worse for Wu Lei fans bcos we hv no other Wu Lei dramas/films to look forward to, if I’m not wrong. At least Lusi’s fan can also wait for WRTW which should start promotion sooner 😅

I’m hoping it will be earlier. Tencent has a bad habit of releasing posters when we least expect it n not giving us anything when we expect them. But I must say we have quite a big collection of reuter photos here, more than most other unreleased dramas.

I read somewhere season 2 will start shooting soon, unfortunately seems like with a different cast. I can’t imagine watching S2 with different cast, how to adjust.

I also believe they filmed both S1and S2 one shot, perhaps it’s broken down to two seasons bcos it is too long. The cast listed for S2 in mdl looks pretty similar to S1. It’s like in Our Times, Season 1 ended not long ago and they say Season 2 is coming but the S2 trailer already released and they couldn’t have started filming Season 2 so fast and without any announcements so likely both seasons were filmed at one go.

TROP novel has a happy ending but the translation is too long - over 150 chapters and ongoing, I gave up midway. But if you like here’s a link for the novel ending - a bit confusing though, plus four chapters of epilogue.

And they can also play a normal couple too since cdrama is filled with many couples where the FL was much older than the ML - like ZLY and Wang Yibo, Tan Songyun and Song Weilong and even WuLei with Li Qin in Fights Break Spheres and Tan Songyun in Whirlwind Girl. Seems like Wu Lei has a history of romancing older FLs 😂

Translation is a back-breaking job - I remember someone started translating Rise of the Phoenix two years ago and until today they r shaven't finished :)

Who Rules the World scheduled to air Q2 next year, which means LLTG can only air very likely earliest Q3/Q4 next year since they will leave a nice gap between the dramas right? Oh my, what a long wait 😭

I read it in a melon site, and they were unable to provide more details like which production company etc so it's very iffy. They mentioned siblings but what exactly is siblings - in cdrama there could be so many different types of siblings - blood siblings, adopted siblings, fostered siblings, exchanged at birth siblings, LOL, who know? But the thing is the source itself is vague. Whatever it is it will be a waste of chemistry and opportunity if these two didn't pair up again.

It’s hard to know what’s real and what’s not. Recently there were Reuter videos of Wu Lei n ZLS filming LLTG and they looked very sweet n close so that sparked another rumour after which coincidentally the Bird Eggs claims intensified. I guess unless there is official announcement everything needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. But as long as they r happy single or otherwise with whoever they choose we r good.

I heard a rumor they r casting Reba and Leo Wu in some brother-sister role next year? Anybody knows more about it? They work well together on and off screen. As to meeting up it wont be surprising since they were both based in Hengdian until recently. But I wonder how would they meet casually without attracting paparazzi and viral videos, LOL. Btw I must say I'm very impressed with this blog. I did not visit for just one day and now there are so many new postings.

I must say it’s a very good decision. Your premonition is quite correct. Although some subsequent episodes were good it did start to spin out of control after ep 50 with the final crash at the end of the last episode!
