Haha, that’s a good comparison. I was also a bit disappointed Ling Buyi mostly wore the same black attire (though he does look good in it) but it’s true Ye Hua also wore black n that drama as still amazing. And the trailer was so good !!! Met all my expectations

Yes, I loved it. But it’s a business drama that tells of life in the cut-throat business world rather than a fluffy romance. So if you like that genre (something like Our Times) it’s a good watch. Plus I read somewhere Sun Li get many acting job offers every year n she only chooses the best scripts. Mark Chao is a bonus 😊

Well, c dramas I like with less annoying characters are the Long Ballad( Dilraba, Wu Lei, Zhao Lusi), Joy of Life, Princess Agents, Love n Destiny and if you like more modern dramas Go Ahead, Our Times, Little Reunion n Ideal City r all quite nice n highly rated.

Ikr such a looooooong wait. Have to sit tight, keep watching other dramas first. And when the waiting gets tough we can always come here and rant. There will be many people here feeling the same 😂

And my other concern is even if there is a season 2, it may take years before they start to film it n ya with changed cast, really spoils the mood n momentum. Like JOL even tho it was wildly popular, till today we r not going to get S2 anytime soon.
