It’s kinda open ending, you can interpret it a few ways. For me I think they were both in a good place, he achieved his ambition of becoming a DJ. On their love life it is not clear, I like to think they were just friends and open to what the future may bring to them.

The review is quite correct. The marketing implied it was a teenage romance but it wasn’t. The ending was good, but open to a few possible interpretations. LGBT is implied but not explicitly stated. As such, perhaps the kiss there is not that passionate since he was never really into her. IMO it’s still a nice movie because it depicts the dreams, met and unmet, of teenagers which is very relatable

The novel has at least one passionate kiss so if the drama follows the book closely…😊

His first kiss was in the movie “ Upcoming Summer”. As to whether he’s a good kisser, I’m not the best judge of it 😂. You could watch Upcoming summer in Netflix to find out

According to sources the drama is quite close to the original story except they remove the time travel part. I also hope they don't spend too much time on CSS childhood part.

Haha, u r right about standstill. The romance happens right at the last episode and even then feels quite rushed. Although I enjoyed the interactions between the leads they r mostly non romantic.

That’s a good expectation to set. I’m near the end of the drama and I have to say the romance part is slower than most slow burn romances but I like it that they gave the two main leads quite a lot of screen time together. I enjoyed watching their banter. I also like the career n friendship parts of the FL even though the career development does not seem realistic.

It’s a very slow burn and somewhere in ep 6-8 you get the idea that the ML has regards for the FL but even then it progresses at a snail’s pace. Romance is not the main focus of this drama I guess. But it is still interesting to watch, I especially like the light comedy thrown in.
