when i first saw some scenes of the K2 i thought JCW's romance would be with Song Yoon Ah's character and was like YESSS FIRE! and then it turned out he yoona was the romantic lead and i was like WHYYY?! she's giving this role NOTHING. then i googled her and found out she's a big deal in korea and that was a cultural shock i'm still unpacking. there's more chemistry in the umbrella scene and they did nothing with it, cowards. i enjoyed your review so much, you really hit the nail on the head, especially the last paragraph. i mean, it would take a Meryl Streep level of actor to pretend to like that dance

all of these are bad, but there's no comparison with the ultimate character assasination that was the Penthouse 3 finale. it managed to ruin a perfect three season arc spanning two years in less than two hours
