the glorification of toxic relationships in dramas is the bane of my (online) existence. i tried watching some clips of this one, but in them the sometimes blonde guy only looks at her with derision or humiliates her in front of her colleages. it's a no for me, but i haven't seen the whole thing to express an informed opinion. from your review i would assume you'd rate it a lot lower, why the 8 stars?

"It’s a vapid show about two people stuck in the feelings of their teenage years" you said it perfectly, my review a few months ago mirrors yours. them being a doctor and a firefighter offers so many opportunities to explore real world problems and give the drama a sense of danger, but with such childish protagonists it comes off a cheap melo with no roots in reality

harsh, but very true. this is how i also felt while watching. I watched a bit more but only for Esom's character, but ultimately not even her skill could save it

i'm on ep 20 and i'm wondering the same thing! she cost FL her career and she's letting out her frustrations with her husband in people that don't deserve it

love that in this drama we don't have the deadbeat ex trope. yeah, he's married again but the he and FL are in good terms and helping each other

Lee Ji Ah in a role with depth and Kang Ki Young is surprisingly great as a male lead, he stole the show in Extraordinary Attorney Woo and now proves that he can carry it

accurate point! an actor's populatiry gives a false sense of the quality of the drama, i stopped caring about mdl scores when i tried to watch some highly rated ones and encountered crushing mediocrity (namely Fireworks in my Heart)

it's a long explanation as to why she married him and we don't have answers yet (i would alove flashbacks). but she seemed to trust him prior to these events to let him borrow her seal. from the little we saw, she didn't have a reason not to, even if they don't love each other in the traditional way

not accurate, it shows the bad behaviour of two men, it doesn't generalize to all men.
