Review My Fated Boy
even though I liked this drama, I totally see your point that (most) cdramas don't have the emotional impact kdramas do. I can see it clearly in the Korean version of this: I Need Romance 3, where Kim So Yeon and Jung Sung deliver impactful performances. same with the Chinese adaption of Something In The Rain. the story is the same but Chinese dramas put distance between subject and viewer. their settings are more clinical, the dialogue not tailored to the characters and the 30+ episodes make even a good story drag. only Chinese drama that didn't drag, for me, is The Rational Life
