This drama was delightful. I really enjoyed it. As much as I hate time skips in K-Dramas, I hate unearned redemption arcs worse. It just seemed like her parents were the worst and for them to make such a drastic change in such a short time seemed unbelievable. They should have ended after a two year time skip and do a montage with updates like - FL parents making a drastic change with the help of counseling. - Blue getting out of military with Mint waiting for him. -FL friend coming home from Germany and dating ML friend - Other FL friend dating ML short friend - FL academic achievements and ML modeling/acting achievements. FL and ML relationships update.

I see what you’re saying and I agree that it’s companionship and in that way they make a good couple. I love Hatano Genichi dad relationship with Kusunoki Hotaru. I think those two even have more chemistry than he has with Sakuta Saku. I watch the last episode and still felt like something is off. I get that all the characters are sort of quirky but it just feels fake. I watch a lot of Japanese dramas so it’s not the first time feeling a character was a bit “off,” but it is the first time where i felt like every character is a bit “off.” I mean, normal people don’t act that way, right? I get it. It’s fiction and the characters are endearing but this drama has me still confused. I’m not sure I like it but I know I don’t dislike it. I’m guessing it just me. 😂

😂😂😂 So you seriously got all my thoughts on this episode captured in a nice list - So glad they didn’t go into a jealous thing with that photo but it left me to wonder if it was a plot device? Is that guy going to show up later? I’m still waiting to see about that text message about him getting married. - Oh the dubbing was horrid. It was like bad lip syncing. - It drove me crazy he didn’t take a bite of the noodles. - That was loud. What the heck? - We are so spoiled by the plant removal in episode 4 it’s so hard to watch the plants not getting removed when needed. 😂😂😂 - Ewww…. That not sexy that’s just sticky.
Also, what was with that horrible background music that was so loud you could barely hear anything else?…. Except the camera printing. My neighbor down the street could hear that camera printing.
This drama has me confused. I get that it is endearing and full of special moments but I also feel like something is “off.” It’s hard to describe but the two male leads together are just cringe. It’s not even the age gap. It’s the total lack of chemistry and overall weirdness in the way the characters act. Their behavior makes them seem mentally stunted. I don’t see any genuine affection from them for each other. They just don’t seem like a believable couple to me. Anyone else feeling the same? Love the found family story line though.
Episode 3 - Oh NO!!! That ice cream is going to melt. Seriously guys, you need to get that in the freezer. It may have been sneezed on but it’s still good.
