If they are having the budget, they better show this in cinemas, not just in Asia and North America but everywhere since I'd like to check this movie out

Apart from this, I saw a tweet and i agree, hopefully for the near future there will be more casts with women instead that it is either full of men or a woman and a men who are leading the project

This is just my opinion but to me it rather sounds that people who write such comments are looking for attention and having prejudices before the show is even broadcast

The question "Would it not be better to try it and then form a opinion" is meant to be more open, while every person can decide on their own if they go for it or not

You've got a point. Someone has said something along the lines, people think anybody can portray Im Sol or Eun Danoh but they can't, these characters are tricky, play it even slightly wrong and you wont react well to them as an audience

As in my case I despise romcoms (more straight ones). I did not watch her last project and I'm someone who cares more about the script and in this case Human from Today seems promising

It's absolutely fine that not everyone will be into it. Look I think people should not easily believe everything, unless they like to manipulate themselves but there can be a change and then suddenly it will be out this year. Nothing is fixed, though articles have been shared. Anything is possible

It is your opinion and I personally think most of male actors are dull but get hyped up too much, even the so called big ones. Lomon is a decent actor

You can have your opinion and I do disagree with it since there is nothing to compare to her other projects with this one. Her character here does not seem bubbly at all after seeing the teaser and filming crumbs

She has done other roles before. I get casuals might not know her movies but The Girl on a Bulldozer for example shows a complete other side

As much as I am excited for Kim Hyeyoon's horror movie and Human from today..I really hope that she will take a break from romcoms and I know I am not the alone with this.

More horror, adventure, action-thriller and that these kind of projects get more recognition than her romcom ones, even more on the worldwide space that gets her into film festivals and on the stage of international award shows

On the other side I would be more up to see her having female related casts with strong stories, maybe even queer romance. I have seen great edits with other actresses

I would prefer if it isn't on Viki. I've rarely used it and canceled my subscription after noticing that they uploaded an interview featuring a director from Hyeyoon's last project, who made some inappropriate comments. You may not be aware but SBS has entered into a contract with Netflix and I'm hopeful that the project will be available on this platform or another major international streaming service like Amazon Prime, as it would reach a broader, more diverse audience compared to Viki, which mainly caters to casual K-drama fans or those focused solely on Korean media

I totally get you, it'd be interesting to see her more in morally grey characters. Well I wouldn't say it was mostly romcoms since her upcoming show and her past one are romcom but before LR, she has done The Girl on a Bulldozer, which was a mystery thriller and there was another two shows once being historical and the other one which was SD, were most of the people were annoyed with her role too

She had a interview in November last year as in 2024 and she has mentioned she doesn't want to restrict herself and try out everything, so let's see what she does after Human from Today

I haven't watched everything from her since romcom is not my type of genre but for example Ok Taecyeon's whole fandom were so supportive towards Hyeyoon during Secret Royal Inspector & Joy 🤔 I can't remember any other 'male' fandom being that insecure. I'm not saying it's all of LR guy's fans, but some things have turned nasty

I'll be tuning in to Hyeyoon's drama, not having the biggest expectations but maybe I'll be suprised?

Lomon is not a rookie or unknown actor tho. He has debuted in 2014 and this will be his sixth main lead role, apart from that All Of Us Are Dead had big streaming numbers on Netflix, even locals who don't know about every korean media out there know his face from that show. He was at the Paris Fashion Week last year

I get where you're coming from, while I think it could be about the general audience, not everyone has got the time to watch a lot of kdramas or even shows.

Now I'm curious since I feel that that around the world, there are still more people who would rather tune into movies since it does not take too much time. I'd have to research about this to get the actual facts

This is just my own opinion. As much as I'm curious about her drama with Lomon, her next casting news should be other genres. The reason why I'm saying it is that Hyeyoon herself has mentioned at one of her fanmeetings this year that she wants to do action. So give her more action, thriller and slice of life stuff without any romance involved

It should be rather veterans when it comes to actors (those who are not having any issues). I could imagine to see her working with Ma Dong-seok, Gong Yoo, Lee Je-hoon and Yim Si Wan

More women led casts too as in Kim Hee-Seon, Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Hye-soo, Kim Tae-ri and Shin Hae-Sun

I'm quite curious about Hyeyoon's expressions and voice tone in this drama. She never sounds the same. From her latest looks like for example her fanmeeting in Macau (that's where she has started filming already), she had a whole different presence, more of an "cold" one, even when this is considered a romcom 🤔
