To each their own but i'd prefer that it stays as a 12 episode drama. There's nothing wrong if people want more episodes but there are others who are not even that much into kdramas who would prefer to check it out due that it hasn't that much episodes especially if this gets released on Netflix worldwide

I couldn't agree more with you. Hopefully she'll take a full break from romcoms after the drama with Lomon. Hyeyoon will surely get the international recognition

I should have phrased it differently but i get your point. It is true that people won't change their opinion, though you may only see this user complaining here but there are some others on other platforms, that is why i have mentioned "let people talk about you".

This isn't about what you think it is. You know it yourself that down there is that account "Zyozyo14" who was talking badly about Hyeyoon as the actress and her looks. I did say those kinda women are seeking for male validation since they talk down on women while they lift their fav male actors up

I think you've mistaken my comment for something else. The reason why i have used "male validation" is that some women out there who are all going gaga about male actors but they keep talking trash about the actresses (them as a person not the characters). I wasn't talking about the drama

It's not always the case when people see too much of a celebrity that they get annoyed. There are huge examples from even actresses around the world.

You know once you're successful, it doesn't matter if you're a public figure or not then you'll be criticized by others.

That's the thing..They might have got a lot of screen time but they were not the leads. I hope one day there will be like a mix of kdramas where it's 50/50 for straight and queer dramas

This drama need to be a hit especially after reading that conservative korean groups were protesting against it.

At least conversations are happening and it should be not seen as something "weird". I mean there have been BLs from this country but i guess this happens that the cast is more known than those other actors in small productions.

I wish this could be the change that even sapphic couples could appear as main leads in kdramas, as for now it only seems to be in movies that there is more freedom.

He might've gotten more attention through this drama but Hyeyoon's awards list is speaking louder + she got named by Forbes US (which mostly talks about businesses) as part of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List For 2023.

I don't want to get too much into details but Hyeyoon has been successful starting from Sky Castle, where she has received her Baeksang then Extraordinary You came, where she was awarded.

After that..It was mostly the fault of her old agency, they could've done much more for her and they did not. She had some main projects in 2021 but it was her first main lead movie The Girl On A Bulldozer in 2022 who has changed a lot of things for her.

I mean she had 10 nominations and has won 6 awards out of them including at the NYAFF (New York Asian Film Festival) 😳

As mentioned in a older comment if you scroll down then i still stand by my opinion. I would like to mention that it happens to a lot of actresses. It would be great to see her in more women led casts

Acom is a much more of a professional agency than her old one. Hyeppyendings (Hyeyoon's fandom) has grown a looot, so if people in every country on this planet spread around her name then she will be not just a household name in South Korea but everywhere.

I would not say that it is the majority. There are still women out there who support more the actresses than actors.

Some straight women are blindly supporting actors, no one knows if they are problematic or not but it is better not to trust a man that easily.

This is not about the gender, sure there can be celebrities who are women who might be corrupt but there is a higher chance especially if people follow the news that in South Korea there is a criminal and it is mostly men. I know some of them are living in delulu land and think some of those men would be like in the kdramas but that is not the case

Seriously Hyeyoon has better dramas and movies even when i did not like this drama too, she still has given her best. People might not know but she went through a burnout.

Mostly due to the misogynistic director of this drama.

True most of LR fans, at least on this website have lost their minds. Sure there are people out there who have enjoyed the drama but they do not freak out over small things

People really need to accept the reality that not any show or movie will be liked by everyone. My honest opinion is that the hype of this show needs to fully stop one day.

I did not like it but i'm happy more people found out about Hyeyoon through this but it's not her best project. She has way better ones.

The worst thing to come out of this is real life shippers 💀 You guys have lost it completely. Shipping fiction characters is alright but nothing else.

Those were not even her best projects. If you all wanna get some real recommendations from her filmography then it would be The Girl On A Bulldozer, Sky Castle or Ditto.

Anyways as some comments here have stated, i would be tuning in if Hyeyoon would be casted as well
