So...here's a fun fact...apparently all the kiss scenes were unscripted...In the airport scene, Earth decided to kiss Mix's forehead cause he thought a hug wasn't enough...and even the kiss scene at the cliff, the director told them to kiss after the hug at the last moment...and the uncut scene where Earth back hugged Mix and kissed his cheek, even that was unscripted and it made Mix blush...Idk what to do with this information...

So apparently I got it wrong...in the novel Tian comes back to the village after completing his degree and does not go abroad...he was about to but then Phupha comes at the airport and he changes his decision...the comment above you has explained it...either way, I am happy with the route that the series follows
So apparently in the novel, after leaving the village, Tian first completes his engineering degree, then he goes abroad for a master’s degree…which is even more heart breaking…so I am glad they changed it in the series… (EDIT - Just found out that this is not the novel plot, I was wrong - the comment below me is the right plot) Plus, as time is progressing, our mindset on education is changing and I am glad that the series shows that it’s ok to change majors (if it’s affordable of course) and try studying something different…cause you never know if that’s what you want to pursue or not, unless you try it out. Of course, realistically speaking, such a decision can be very hard cause you might encounter obstacles like finances, pressure from parents and society, but still, some people do it, and that’s okay.

when was this filmed? 2 yrs ago? was it on shelf for 2 years?
It was filmed last year in October (October 2020)...because of the pandemic they couldn't shoot it before...cause this is not a typical BL which can be shot in settings like a cliche Thai university or something...it wasn't that easy and they had to prepare the setting before hand, like Tian's house, the school, etc which takes time
if it were as popular as 2gether.. it will automatically get reruns..I don't know how much of a craze it became…
I am not discrediting them or saying they didn't deserve it cause 2gether was my comfort series during the lockdown...I am just saying that IF 1000 stars HAD AIRED during the pandemic, it would have blown up too...that does not mean that 2gether got successful just because of the pandemic, and I know they deserve the success
