The romance is so wrong and messed up but i loved it at the time (it's been 4 years since i watched it) and i want to rewatch but i'm afraid it won't hold up because my views have changed a lot since then.

Will this drama ever get subbed? i'm so bitter, it's gained such high praise from a lot of people whose tastes I trust but it's been 5 years and there are still no subs or recaps to follow. Ugh the language barrier sucks.

I really REALLY disliked the leads of this drama, which is so rare for me, because i usually love all sorts of female leads especially, but instead i found myself rooting for the second female lead (not to get together with the main lead mind you i thought he was horrible) and wanting to see more of her ...

Will i ever get over Yeo jin goo as Woo Jin in this drama? I think not.

Wait a second, so the hit and run that Park moo sung caused, was that the accident that killed yoon's child? i mean there is no way the other prosecutors wouldn't know that right? But that would make perfect sense, especially considering the fact they keep bringing up the hit and run, there are so many questions left, idk how they're gonna wrap everything in 4 eps. Also that scene in the hospital when ga young was drinking a yoon talked and she choked...

Hahaha When he keeps saying rude shit to his superiors and they're like ...... i die and when yeo jin hits him or says something ridiculous to the cops it's so funny because it's so out of the blue and they make it look so real lmfao no one gets these two weirdos they're on a level of their own, i love it.

Am i the only one that laughs out loud at least twice an episode ? whether it's shi Mok deadpaning someone or yeo jin being hilarious, i never expected it from an extra-serious crime thriller.

You know when that little boy kept hanging around after his case was solved i thought it would lead to some sort of adoption especially since they're both so familiar with second families/parents not related by blood but he disappeared in the last eps, I'm just gonna headcannon that it happened.

You know what i loved most about the finale was how they didn't shy away from the fact that relationships can become mundane and boring and that this wasn't some fairytail romance but real people falling in love and they fight for the dumbest reasons because they're ultimately human and i also adored the ot3 female friendship, i wish we'd get a season of all of them being a family and solving cases together and having meetings where someone always screams that they should focus, i'm gonna miss this drama a lot, it may have faltered in it's second half but it finished strong and was a delight to watch.

Right? He deserves whatever he's getting and i don't feel an ounce of sympathy for him.

I did not see that twist coming and while i was feeling sorry for hyun soo because r*pe is the ugliest thing and honestly those assholes deserved what they got, being a bystander is no better, watching the girl you like get r*ped by SIX guys and doing nothing. .. He can choke.

The last episodes were chock full of stupidity and what was that terrible ending, were they aiming for a second season or what, these last 2 eps tainted the whole thing.

This was really good, there wasn't much of a story because it's a rom-com and that's to be expected but the characters were so fantastic and felt like real complicated people with flaws and hopes and dreams including two very different but equally wonderful female leads, add to that some beautiful relationships that ranged from friendship and familial affection to romantic love and some truly great acting and it's a drama that i will definitely rewatch someday.

While i didn't enjoy everything about this drama, the main leads individually and together were fantastic and it was one of my first drama obsessions where i couldn't stop watching, i don't know if it would hold up on a re-watch though so i'm not risking it.

This was some refreshing,hilarious,emotional good sh*t.

You know what; i understand both povs it's quite realistic, i get ae ra not wanting to see the person she loves most get hurt over and over again or maybe even suffer a critical injury and die it's her right and i'm not going to judge her for something that i wouldn't know my reaction to until it actually happens to me, and it's dong man's choice as well to want to put his dream first, this is so much better than some rose colored bullshit romance where the characters are perfect and don't make a lick of sense. She's putting her emotional/mental health first ( not that it's not gonna hurt if something happens to him), and he's doing the same for his passion, that's life. But let's face it this is a korean rom-com so it's gonna end with puppies and rainbows i just hope it's done in a way that's believable.

Great article, I am so happy with the current crop of leading ladies this year, it's been delightful, among the dramas airing rn i'd say besides ae ra, ji soo and hye young, there is bong hee and yeo jin from suspicious partner and stranger respectively who are both fantastic in their own rights, i can only hope this is a sign of dramaland giving us more complex fantastic ladies in the years to come.

Please be good, i haven't watched a decent Moon Chae Won drama in 5784849 years.

I actually still like this drama quite a bit, the mystery and romance alike. That's why i'm a firm believer of the "to each his own" motto, because A LOT of dramas that people rate highly make me go meh, but it seems to be the opposite here.
