If you watch the ep. Luke gets along with everyone and he shoulder hugs them, but very seldom Joss. And it did not look like it's because he dislike him. So I thought maybe they naturally have something, maybe Luke gets 'shy' around Joss??
However, it could just be that Joss is taller and bigger, so Luke can't reach around him comfortably.

Thanks. But for me, even if that only happens after a fews years, I still hope the BrightWin ship will be the long lasting one. Like KristSingto. Both Kris and Singto have other bl and female screen partners after the Sotus era. But KristSingto ship is still the classic, main, lasting ship that we remember.

I think it's the right thing for him to do to tell HM, so as to not give her any false hope. And it's kind of OK to disclose that to HM since he can tell she already knows. But even with knowing it, she still insisted on going out with him. That's why I think KG was right to tell her honestly.

KG can't tell/confess, because that will mean they can't be together anymore (because of HTJ's being the sole heir and will be taboo to be gay in korea with his status, the father will separate them probably sent HTJ to england and fire KG, most probably HTJ is expected to marry a high status 'lady' and both families will benefit from the marriage, etc etc)
KG is deliberatly not openly acknowledging his feelings because he knows HTJ can't handle it if KG is gone. He's holding back for HTJ's sake. KG is staying not because of the money he earns from the father, and not because he won't be able to handle without HTJ. He's staying because he's looking out for HTJ. And to do that he has to put the brakes on both their feelings for each other.

finished ep 3. I like it. Thanks. I'm not sure about the charactor ZWH though. It seems he was meant to be a 'acting cute/adorable(? can't find the word)' charactor when he's with JBZ, but strong when he's with others. However, WYY's 'cutness' acting was not convincing. plus the script wrote him as not entirely good in martial arts since he's self learned, so not really the strong guy. Idk, just him doesn't sit well with me. I like the others, esp when JBZ nurses ZSQ wounds.
To reciprocate, there's one I really like, "the sleuth of the ming dynasty". Not only the drmama, I like the OST too. I listen to the opening OST on repeat LOL.

There're are a lot of happy moments. But culturally, even in the chinese culture as well, happiness can be quite heavy. Also, events that are considered as 'happy' in some cultures may not be 'happy' events in other cultures.
Some examples of the lighter ones are: when HTJ reacted cutely (happily) after KG told him he gave HM a fake number; when KG was amused (happy) by HTJ acting flirty as if he's HM during breakfast; when KG throws HTJ the choclate milk ep 1 and similarly when HTJ ask KG to buy him chocolate milk (the little acts that bonds them to make the relationship jolly); etc.
Some examples of the slightly heavier as well as the really heavy ones are; when KG noded to reassure HTK it's OK that he gets beaten by the father because of HTK's screw ups (happy sacrifice, not reluctant not resentful); HTK told the driver to turn around to get KG (a deeply celebratory act); KG gave HTJ the hug when HTJ was sad and asked for one, even though it's hard for KG to hold himself back 'sexually' with these kinds of physical closeness with HTJ (more considerate of HTJ's emotions than his own problems); when KG clarified honestly to HN that he likes and is not tired of (does it happily) taking care of HTJ; that KG continues without fail to get HTJ chocolate milk which is a symbolic act of their connections; etc.
The 'happy events' doesn't mean all parties are aware of them, hence they don't necessarily translate to the charactors feeling 'jolly' and 'light'. That's why they can be 'heavy'. I think that's why in some cultures don't see those as celebratory events while others do.
Just from my upbringing and experiences. My intention is not to disagree, but more to, perhaps, introduce and share another (perhaps cultural) perspective.
Then again, maybe misundertood my vocabulary - the word happy.
Having said all that. You are right, Korea is not too accepting of LGBT+ yet. In both 2019 and 2020 gay pride parade, there were equal number of people having anti-gay rallies.
But to ban this drama is probably not the way to go.
rewatched ep 5-6 for the 5th time now, can't get over it, felt such strong emotions, it's driving me nuts, left me hanging.
tried watching some other dramas to distract myself, but none worked. LOL. The shipper doesn't work for me, couldn't even finish ep 1. YYY doesn't work either, I find it too weird.
Anyone have any suggestions what else good out there to watch?
