Better than I expected, although it's a bit too long. The 2nd ML character feels weird, although they showed us that he sorted out his feelings before the last third, they disregard that and re-confirm it again on the last episode. This was pointless just for the sake of prolonging the sub-story for both 2nd leads.
This is the equivalence of eating a dry tasteless cracker. Feels too empty and shallow, barely holds any substance. As if the cast consist of only two characters. I guess you will find it fine if this was your first drama.
The ML (Yoon Sang Hyun) didn't feel like a good fit for role, he just gives support character vibes. He lacks chemistry with the FL. Meanwhile Yoon Eun Hye is too op, she is godsend, shining through every scene. For the drama itself, it started off good then went all over the place. It lacks a lot in many areas. Average at best.
This drama sets the wrong expectations for 10yo kids irl. Have you seen a 10 yo kid? They are dumb as a brick lol. Although the cast was great, especially the kid, but it felt loosey goosey. There was an attempt which wasn't enough, you can't rely the viewers' emotions only. Another thing really bothered me was the OST. Most of the time it just doesn't fit the scene and other times it plays when it shouldn't be played. This is the kind of OST you would expect from a short low budget indie drama.
OOF! YIKES! This falls down to the same caliber as Playful Kiss if not lower. The writer/director must have been taking something while working, I refuse to believe this was made intentionally. I'm not gonna waste anymore keyboard clicks than that.
There are *only* two things I appreciated about the show: - I managed to download a Bluray copy of 121GB that was just an eye-candy of crispness which helped sitting through this atrocious show. - Lee Min Jung (Ha Jae Kyung) is godsend.
A lot better than I expected. Their love is something fresh I haven't seen before. Although the drama tries to force sadness a little bit around the end. The leads had an amazing chemistry, the bounce off of each other really smoothly. Felt real and impactful, away from the typical artificial candy. The time skip at the end was really nice and heartwarming.
At first the male lead felt like he was a support character but then he starts growing on you. Yet there is one big problem that won't let you fully immerse yourself, he looks significantly older than everyone (even the actor real age is like that). He consistently feels out of place. I understand they wanted someone to look as average as possible but they should cast an actor without this obvious age gap.
All that being said, shame on them to include such pathetic kissing scenes. A 50 years old virgin could kiss better than that. My grandma smooches are wetter than that.
Damn, all the parents were really shitty. I didn't like the male lead, he acts and behave like a teenager. Meanwhile the female lead feels like she is out of place in this drama. I think she is more suited for serious roles like the 'The Village: Achiara's Secret' one. Anyway, the drama was okay.
It is really sad that this was Chae Rim's last drama in her career. Such a good actress. Maybe one day she comes back but I highly doubt it considering her situation and age.
Anyway, for the drama itself, the romance is extremely dry and just simply doesn't exist which leads to a distastefully forced ending and it is just weird. There's no love or chemistry, he simply comes off at the end as someone who wants a permanent babysitter for his kid. This could have been fixed easily by changing few scenes in the last 2 episodes but the writers decided to be weird.
It tries to be a melodrama but it is not. Last episode was too messy, things moving around too fast, characters suddenly have a change of heart just for the sake of giving them a resolution. Wish for a better ending.
I'm just here because I was going through Jung So Min filmography. Even in her earliest works she has been great. Been a fan since 'Because This Is My First Life' which was the first time I seen her. One of my favorite actress.
Anyway, back to this drama, what an absolute shit show. Utterly abhorrent all around but the one thing that stands out to me the most is how much of an ass ML is towards FL even after the marriage, it is border line emotional abuse!
This drama/manga is riddled with problems, I don't get it why every Asian country made an adaptation of it.
Too many face close ups that it gets nauseating. I understand they are doing that because she is blind but the filmography doesn't feel right. Also, what was that ending, it's too messy and chaotic. A calmer ending would have been better.

Shin Hye Sun is my top 3 favorite actress.
