It starts off really weak and I can see why someone might drop it after 1 episode. It gets better as you get to know the characters but everything moves very slowly, you can feel that they are trying hard to fill the 16 episodes.
Yet, for some reason, everything starts to move fast-forward at x10 speed in the last episode. I feel like there was too much focus on whether to keep the baby or not that everything else was brushed off quickly. It had good potentials but it didn't fully deliver. It's entertaining enough with some good laughs. But hey, Uee absolutely shines through anything as always.
The grandfather was an annoying hurdle and completely unnecessary. So basically these reporters are the detectives and the real detectives are just chilling. It doesn't hit right and makes the story weak. I would much rather see both reporters and police force work together. Also, I wish we had more of the main leads relationships, they were so damn good together for the few moments they had.
The Korean version is far more superior than the JP one. If you want the absolute happy ending check the Korean version. The ending with the Japanese one is kinda not really that satisfying.
The comment made by L13 below me, nails every thought I have for this drama. This is definitely a unique drama I will remember for a long time and this is low key Song Hye Kyo best work to date.
Not the biggest fan of the ending (last couple of episodes). I found the beginning was really good, first 5-ish episodes then it got weaker. Overall, it's an entertaining flick.
Jesus that was painful to get through. It was really underwhelming and a disappointment to say the least. I hated every aspect of the male lead character. His presence truly made the drama worse. Don't waste your time!
Better than expected. Their argument at the last episode about marriage vs living together was completely unnecessary since they brought the topic up too late. If they really wanted to tackle that angle, they should have introduced the idea much earlier. Anyway, Go Mi Ryeo was the real mvp. We need to see her in more lead roles.
Shit ending! There could have been way too many other ways to end it and they decided to end it like that. The writers really know how to piss you off after 20 episodes. I don't consider this is a happy ending. Starting from the end of episode 16, the drama has gone into a suicidal path, a downward spiral. Not a single character got a proper closure.
The husband is a world-class piece of shit and the drama is trying to make us sympathize with him?? I liked how both leads had uncontrollable love for each other. You usually see in dramas that one side is clearly the one showing all the love while the other is just receiving and reacting.
Can get super boring at some parts but not bad overall. Although the comedy in the last episode felt silly, childish and stupid, it's like they didn't know what to do by then. The lack of any romance really bring it down because other merits doesn't elevate the show enough.

2nd FL relationship with 2nd ML was brushed off really fast in the last 2 episodes. Wish they gave them more screen time.
