Love the stat work you did. I tend to keep them on currently watched or on hold. Mostly because I just lost interest even though I might have one or two ep left, and so I just want to get over the hump and finish them -one day.
Looking at some comments I guess I'm way too easy to please? I thought this was a great thriller and even when you see the plot a mile away, it's still somewhat scary and nerve wracking. I had to pause and walk for a little to get rid of the tension. Great acting and good directing. Two side notes, OMG he was looking at the picture! and what a total psycho!
I'm revisiting this drama and man I can't believe I even watched this in the 1st place. Por's character is so despicable, he's an entitled prick who can't take a no for an answer and thinks the world revolves around him. "Love" is not an excuse to treat people like you own them and do whatever you want with them.
This was a bit long but a very good movie. By the end I was as frustrated and angry as the detectives. This movie touches on the reality of crime solving especially at that time period and in regards to the real case.
With one line synopsis I decided to watch this and it turned out to be a good mystery and thriller. . IDK why the low ratings it was pretty decent with an unlikely protagonist. Though the son is total jerk, do give it a try.
Blind and the gifted hands are some of my favorite movies which I've rewatched multiple times. I'll watch The Devotion Of Suspect X soon. Thanks for the recommendation.
Well this didn't live up to my expectations (with all the positive reviews and high rating). It is an adaptation, but it doesn't have the essence of Itazura Na Kiss (Naoki as a character was supposed to be cold, uncaring, with little EQ. Kotoko's persistence was what softened him over the years). I do think it was a good story. The acting was good and the chemistry is there. My biggest problem was not the changes, but the flow of the story and the weird transitions. The ending was also unfulfilling for all the other characters :/ They invested enough time in other characters that a proper conclusion for them was due.
Now for a little rant about the story of Itazura Na Kiss. It was my favorite manga when I first read it more than 10 years ago; however, the more I watch the story and its adaptations the more I dislike it. I've always knew that a character like Naoki is detestable to me in real life, but Kotoko was so lovable and I wanted her to get what she wanted which is his love. However, realistically someone like Kinnosuke (King) is the best and the one that will make you happy. If Kotoko had cut ties with Naoki and put real time and distance between them, she would've surely loved Kin-chan and build a good life with him and forgot about Naoki. Maybe that's just me but it gets exhausting to be the only showing affection, especially when you also crave that affection. Also, when you're always making compromises and putting that person first, you lose yourself respect and identity in the process. I couldn't sleep thinking about what King has done for Talew and I started remembering all the other adaptations and how much Kin-chan's character has done for Kotoko. It really bothered me and I couldn't sleep mulling over the topic in my head.
I kinda like the actress that play Sandee, but the series is meh :/ Honestly the quality of teen/ young adult thai dramas are just not that great. They pump out so many, and many times lack in their production quality, acting, and stories. So far the only memorable ones have been Hormones and more recently Project S.
OMG, this is definitely not something I'd watch if it wasn't recommended to me, too much gore. The movie had a lot of shortcomings, but if you look into the story it is very sad and reflects some of what happens in society.
Wow! so much to be said about this movie. A great thriller, the stress I experienced watching this was insane I could feel my pulse racing. Great acting, good cinematography especially at the end with the contrast (dark and light), engaging story. This had a darker tone than I had anticipate which makes it more relatable. Totally recommended.
