Rooting for Yoo Eun Ho -he's charming and timid at the same time which is a fun combination. He gives such a positive impression as a male lead and can't wait for the FL to fall for him (I predict a denial at first though but it'll be entertaining to watch).
This may be the most thrilling Cdrama I've ever watched!
The storytelling, the pace, the characters - all brilliant! Song Mo and Dou Zhao are possibly the most engaging pairing I've had a chance to encounter in a drama world. Their chemistry and how they trusted and supported each other was one of the best parts of the whole story. Also, the angst, the love, the thrill, the scheming - all in perfect moderation so you cannot get bored.
While watching the last few episodes, I got positively surprised how many turns of events we faced while watching the drama and how complex the story turned out to be. I'll always remeber how this drama made me feel and I'm sure it'll become a classic.
A bit underwhelming, mostly because of Netflix and their idea of splitting shows into few seasons which basically ruins korean dramas. Netflix must've had impact on screenplay considering how it ended (basically a chaos) as the first season was better thought through.
I've enjoyed few first episodes immensely though and I think the game between player 001 and 456 was brilliant.

I'm actually a fan of his dramas so far (I enjoyed his works) and I just feel a bit regretful as I expected someone less established. I'm curious though 😉

As I understand, this drama is supposed to be a historical one and the only historical work that I saw Lee Jong Suk in was "The Face Reader". Based on that, I'm not convinced. I actually saw Byeon Woo Seok in almost all his previous dramas and for me he's not "one hit wonder". After this drama was announced, him and Kim Jae Young were my choices for Heinrey.
Also, I saw the cameo with Byeon Woo Seok and Shin Min Ah and I was wondering how their pairing would look like in a different drama.
Tbh I feel some reservations about this drama as it depends how the historical setting will be done (as it's not a European one).
I hope he declines. I don't see him in historical drama. He's a decent actor but he just looks too modern.
They had many options but they went with the "popular main cast" route assuming that the drama could sell well if they cast established actors for FL&ML. Sometimes I wish the production companies would take more risks while casting - it could make things more interesting.
It's actually funny because both IU and Lee Jong Suk are supposed to have a drama with actors who are my dream pairing (Shin Min Ah and Byeon Woo Seok).
Wow ! How is this drama so good? I didn't know anything about it - decided to check it out because of Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin and I'm so intrigued. I hope Chae Soo Bin gets more recognition thanks to this - she's great.
Ep. 4 was outstanding and the pace and how this drama is fixated mainly on the main couple? Couldn't ask for more. The conversation during the interview was also so well-written showing how both of them did hide their feelings and lived in silence. I wasn't expecting the ending.
I'm so happy that people are starting to pay attention to him (I was always wondering why nobody talks about him as he's talented and his looks are even better than some other A-lister celebrities).
I'm loving it so far! All main actors are great but Hwang In Yeop is just spectacular at how he acts with his eyes.
It also has a tad different vibe than Go Ahead but that's fine with me (it can't be the same with only 16 episodes as it's just not possible to cover everything). I watched Go Ahead a very long time ago and I treat both dramas separately (I'd actually prefer if they stray a bit from the source material to make it interesting so I don't mind those changes that we've seen so far). I think if you watch this drama with an open mind, you'll definitely enjoy it.
I find Han Daon in the ending of Ep8 hypocritical. He was all about stopping justitia from performing her duties…
I've aready commented it on here somewhere - I actually find it believable that he only now seeks revenge. All that trauma finally broke him and he has nothing to loose. He may now have an urge to kill but he will also hate himself for that hence the request to be killed (in his opinion his life will be worthless once he becomes a slave to depravity).
Character like Han Daon is needed for the purpose of balance - there is no good without bad and evil. What this drama shows, additionally, is that humans are full of flaws - they could be righteous and sinners at the same time.
Well FL voting winner was seo yeji if they would have go with the voting, you would have really won 😁
I was actually thinking about him initially, but he has a few upcoming projects already planned so I don't think it's be possible (unless the timing of the production will be adjusted). And he's almost the same age as Shin Min Ah so it's difficult to imagine for me (I have an open mind though).
The Judge from Hell
Wonderful World
All 10s on my watchlist
Korean writers never cease to amaze me.
All things considered - what a delightful drama! Didn't expect it to be that funny.

And the epilogue? Pure cinema.
