They literally wrecked all of the character writing for most of the characters like player 333 to create stakes.…
I found that extremely inconsistent and one of the reasons this season frustrated me so much. There were good moments but the initial spark of season 1 was lost in the process of satysfying Netflix executives.
Way to ruin a story. That's why I'm of opinion that korean dramas should only have one season. I struggled a lot watching it and felt extremely frustrated.
I believe most of us viewers want to watch a simple, beautiful drama. We are here to not judge who is a saint…
I agree - if anyone expected a bit calmer turn of events, then they would be disappointed.
What I also meant is that I felt that this drama will get messy from the beginning - once they decided that she didn't hear what Jang Yong Hye said to Beom U when she visited him for the first time (I was a bit disappointed about that as I thought that maybe she will know from the beginning about his motives and the story will be more about gaining her trust and working together towards the common goal overcoming obstacles). It's going to definitely get more dramatic from now on.
I don't think Yeon Ju is even a bit swayed by her ex. I think her sudden trip has sth do to with the Japanese chief, not her feelings (also she's very closed off so I'm not surprised that she hasn't shared information with the rest). She wouldn't go for a date otherwise as she's not that cold.
Also, do not forget that Beom U is not a saint - he's had ulterior motives about which he seemingly forgot for a moment, but the truth will definitely come out and Yeon Ju will be hurt (unless he comes clean earlier which I don't think he will).
Why can't they choose someone more experienced? Where are all the actors in their early 30s?
We may even ignore the age gap if both actors can play well (like Lee Jae Wook and Jo Bo Ah), but here I have some doubts that he will deliver. And it's such a shame for Kim Go Eun - she deserves the best.
I think this drama is underrated. Such a well-made show and I have so much fun watching it! It has everything I need and I love how action-packed it is.
You can also notice that the director is the same as the one who directed Mr. Queen (which was superb btw).
I enjoyed it but expected a bit more out of the story and wanted to know more about new characters to connect with them more (it's always difficult to live up to original though).
It's really stressing me out to see such a low rating when it's a good drama. Many say it's because the story…
People became impatient so they can't stand watching a story which is slow-paced and not a cute rom-com with famous leads (even then most of them complain how cringe some of the stories are).
I'm afraid that if Reply series were to be released nowadays, it wouldn't be as popular as it used to be (I hope I'm wrong though and there are still people out there who can appreciate good story).
It's going to be my guilty pleasure - nothing legendary, a bit cringe, but overall fun (at least for now).
I'm pretty certain I'm not going to like the love triangle or whatever it'll be (I read the webtoon and I'm curious how much they'll stick to the original story).

Must've been so much fun for Park Bogum to play this character.
Talented, likeable, a bit crazy and reckless underdogs? It's totally my cup of tea! Love it so far!

I really like both leads and how they interact with each other. Han Boem U is so direct and it's so refreshing.

Loved the acting - all cast is insanely talented.
