Wow I’m so immersed again😭they nearly lost me for a second . This drama is really good so far very unpredictable. yunshu being the ultimate villain was predictable tho icl. What happened to her scholarly man bai ying sheng she was meeting under a tree🤣 honestly I can’t wait to see what the next few episodes will bring . And how shanboa will get on her grannies good side again. I feel like the granny is not stupid too she will soon realise she’s is being played by yunshu. I can’t wait to see how Lu jiang lai and Shanbao will get together she made a vow to her whole ancestors but she also made a vow to Lu so being for real idk where her priorities are when it comes to her already being on the thin ice with granny .

Mr white clothes monk over here bai Lou needs to stay the hell awayyy from shanbao. I feel like him and the yunshu are like partners in crime. She also has her own little second hand harem on the side with her shanbao suitors. And ML clocked this time ago and warned shanbao. The second I saw her evil villain side smile I knew it was over she wanted to take rong family’s head sister role. But lowkey she’s blind so idk in what world she thinks those people in that society will accept her with open arms she just want to ruin her own sisters life for the fun of it. Somebody get her

In this case she is also head of the family information gets to her fast so she needs to act fast. He’s too busy trying to figure out who he is in the middle of an identity crisis courting her so I don’t think she has all the time in the world babysit him and share what she is doing every moment. He catches on and that’s what she likes about him. She’s not manipulating him to that extent it’s just a “partners in crime” thing.

And this Yang family is it the same one as Yang ding Chen? did he recognise her ???? And Yang ding Chen found out?

That part that made me laugh the “don’t forget the rong family traditions” and they all took a giant leap back😭😭and the FL had to stop crying and change her whole attitude towards her sister dying . I feel like it’s the complete lack of the “royal family” presence . I do like how we got straight into it but we went from a “local magistrates” to “ I have an indictment” to “we poisoned you just bc”.(obviously we have to wait to find out why they killed him) I think I might have to rewatch the first few episodes.

i saw an edit somebody made on tiktok where cfans posted them watching the drama. Obviously i have no clue but that made me a little proud because i am enjoying it alot too.

the storyline is so good, they have really fell for each other so now i am scared. Correct me if I am wrong but i don't know if Mei Zhu has powers anymore to save them😭. Also why is everyone against them??? stressing me out. all his brothers, her best friend??? their relationship was doomed from the start. As of now as much as i am enjoying it they are too deeply in love for me when all this chaos is building up. I hate watching sad or rushed ending so i hope they finish this drama off well. This is the only cdrama from this year that i plan to complete from start to finish which surprises me because i usually hate dramas with fantasy and demons and so on.

Also the main leads have me speechless. Tian xi wei is my number one C actress for me. I have only started watching cdramas dec 24' and every historical drama i have watched with her i have loved. I didn't know much about Xu Kai before this drama but damn he is finee. I need to see what other historical dramas he's in. I thought i had to wait until Tian xi wei drama with zhang ling he to see her and saw that she was in this one and just decided to blind watch this. I was taken aback by the demons but i am enjoying it. I guess their chemistry is making up for it. Xu Kai has been added to the stan list alongside Tian Xi Wei & Zhang Ling He. He is now one of my clients. His eyes are stunning as well.
