Right?! I agree, for every one that complains about the same old formula in cdramas, this was definitely not it. The writers did a solid for this one. 💯🔥
So this is a chess game playing within a Go board? After all the chess pieces are done, now it's time to see how this Go game ends? Seriously, what was the thought process going into this drama?? You can feel the gear of this drama is about to be cranked up. I feel those beginning episodes were tame and just setting the tone. Now the political games are starting to show itself and you're having to figure out where everyone and everything stands. I have a few ideas but have no clue if that's how the story will play out.
So that's why XHA keeps his eyes closed when he has to deal with the fake Zhang Mo..... 😭😭😭
The little details that XHA exhibits gives him the softness that otherwise would make this character one dimensional with his all out hate of the people he has to deal with. And this is how you fall for a character... to give them a relatable human touch.
