I thought I've liked CY's other characters before, but this might be my favorite all time ( for now 😛). His kindness, strategic thinking, being unflappable in the face of any danger, thoughtfulness for everyone around him, and looking gorgeous in all his outfits... how can anyone be so perfect ??

But now that we are half way through and we have seen his character's understanding for ALL beings, whether they be demons, those ahole Yiqi Alliance, his father, his junior sister, and even Butler Fei. This compassion for all these entities is what makes his character so admirable. Where can you find someone that doesn't take fault with all the ills in the world but still want to defend and make it better? Now I need to go find myself a Guier. 🏃🏻‍♀️

Quan Jingting doesn't deserve a worse dad of the year award, he deserves a POS award.

Even though Fugui was isolated all his life and with no affection from his dad or anyone, he still grew up to have such a sweet disposition and understanding of everything around him. When his parents were discussing if they had a boy, and Hongye said he hopes the boy would be as kind as her, he really is as kind as his mother! The way Fugui's character is connected to that scene is so heartbreaking considering how he was raised!! 😭😭
