My favorite episode so far. Even in a dark drama good fluff packs a punch.
Even PDA moments like holding hands and kissing packs a wallop! you have to remind yourself that they're not in Hua. But...they're now in Hua, so it will be interesting to see if that continues. Even if it doesn't, I appreciate that we were provided context and that when they're in private, or as private that his royal horniness, Fan Xiao, would allow, we still get that intimacy. One of the reason why I loved Revenged Love so much.
The logic WSW gave for what he did to try to help CC makes sense to me.
He and CC are a family. He did what he though he needed to do. And these assets are his to do with as he decides.
And it helps show CC's parents that he really does love their son and what he is willing to do and give up for him. Hopefully they can see that here.
Also, I think it brings up an interesting legal point about Queer life here. He and CC aren't married. Unless stated in the novel, CC's house is his own asset. And they not married. So I don't see how WSW would have been able to sell it.

Eg. When WSW went back to the clinic and GCY came to see him, his silhouette could make one that that it's somehow CC.
When WSW went to visit CC in jail, when CC hid behind the wall and tried to tidy himself up a bit once he realized it was WSW. And making sure CC had stubble. Throughout the drama, this was done.

In the symbolism. And the acting. I sincerely appreciate the drama for this. I could write essays on this if I were a better writer. lol
As much as the novel has its own set of fuck ups, I remember reading these lines in the novel and had to PAUSE…
I think it would be safe to say that they both really love each other. what I appreciate about this drama is that it’s had enough time to show it. to breathe. maybe the might make use of those lines or general meaning later on. here’s hoping.
I have to remind myself that WSW is barely over 20 and is is baby experiencing his first real love (Yue Yue does…
that’s the interesting thing though. CC knows the games WSW plays and the kind of person he his. He’s said this on multiple occasions. heck, WSW even thanked CC for putting up with his crap. This is why I think CC was able to move on in this episode. and he knows that WSW loves him.for me though. I wouldn’t say that CC has done no wrong. I really didn’t like the way he’s dealing with WSW’s mom’s situation. sure, he’s caught in a difficult situation with the mom wanting him to keep it quiet, but this, to me, is on a whole different level. the guilt that WSW could have of feeling like he should have know, should have seen it, should have been better could really mess him up.
I actually find this ep liberating. Finally, we're able to begin moving on. Sure, problems are arising, but, they're also being resolved at the same time. which makes it not feel like totally depressing when it could easily be. We're being freed of these dangling nerve-racking issues
And I got to give Tian Xu Ning a lot of props this episode. He really delivered that final quarter of ep 18. He was able to give a lot to those lines a lot of meaning in-keeping with his character.
This dramas continues to surprise me in mostly positive ways. I'm looking forward to how be deal with everything else we have to.
So when CC said he bought the clothes for his mom and at the same time got the clothes for WSW, it was WSW's mom he actually got it for? So his future mother in law?
What I like most about the WSW and CC relationship is that it's getting a chance to breathe and grow. So far, for the most part, the pacing is good.
I'm getting to see WSW come to terms with his sexuality in a gradual way. And, given WSW's personality and quirks, it really refreshing to see how he is as a partner at the same time. The guy is falling in love, hard.
And Tian Xu Ning. He approaches CC with such nuance and range. Sometimes his seemingly blank expressions are so much more. Part of that is because we've gotten a lot of time to get to know CC.
Given all of this, it will be interesting to see how the hard times play out and how the hopeful bounce back brings that much more fun.
