I find ep 1 so-so. But will definitely watch on. Always looking forward to watching park hyung sik since the hit…
He looks the same to me from what he looked like in Happiness but yes he is different from Strong Girl BongSoon. To me it looks he just bulked up as a lot of people I know got rounder faces after putting more muscular mass on. I got used to his new image now after watching Happiness 3 times 😅🤣
I confess i started this because of Park Hyung Sik as the trailer didnt look that interesting to me. All was good until the childhood connection trope... i just cant stand it, im allergic at it and makes me drop dramas all the time. But in this case was so minimal that i continued watching. I stayed once i saw the female lead knows how to fight. Hope she will not forget about it later on 😮💨 there was the cliff trope too (hate that one as well as they make them so high it is impossible to survive without breaking all the bones in your body) but at least she was fighting and didnt just jump there by herself 😅 l wish the cdramas would copy the kind of maid this drama has instead of those annoying brainless ones they make as a copy and paste! So the FL's maid was another positive point. Anyways it is only episode one but I'm hoping it will we an interesting drama, fingers crossed. Waiting for the episode 2
Just finished watching. I gave it an 8 but really it is less as the writing was all over the place and inconsistent. But because i liked the leads well enough i didnt want to rate it lower. It had potential as the idea but didn't really like the final product. Regardless i finished watching it and watched even the deleted scenes which absence made the show even less immersive because you could really tell scenes were just roughly taken out. I liked the idea of a love story between a powerful eunuch and a lady, i liked their characters expecially during more serious scenes, and i liked the ending ost. Overall it was entrataining and if i started watching with lower expections maybe i would have liked it more. The trailer was just a lot better than the drama itself. Ps. Why everybody hates the main actress, she is actually not that bad compared to others, dont think i watched her in other dramas but here she did a good job with what was given to her
Just started, i like the visuals very much and the main character is interesting but not sure of the others or the story 🤔 but i feel it is the kind of show i can watch until the end without dropping it 😁 the young girl introduced in the first episode seem the typical bratty and annoying female character. I just hope it was just a bad introduction and she is not gonna be cringy. Im just at ep 2 so maybe I will like it more later on, definetely i wont like it less 😁 it seems like a good show
It was an amazing show, very wholesome and relaxing. After a day at work i was watching it in the evening before going to sleep. It was puting a smile on my face and sometimes few tears. The main leads are so lovable and their love story was so well done, impossible not to fall for them. The village, the people, the atmosphere were so heartwarming. Didnt know anything about the drama and i started watching it as it premiered as i loved the main actress in Dream of Splendor and she didnt seem the kind of actress who would accept some typical annoying female role 😅 and i guessed right because i liked her character very much. This show as whole was perfect for me even if i m more drawn to fast pace dramas
I completely forgot about this one and saw it on viki today! Can't wait to watch tonight when i go home 😊 everybody seems to enjoy it so far so I'm having high expectations 😆
What total and utter crap this pile of garbage show is. All the kissing scenes are cut, for no reason why-theres…
Had potential but it is all over the place. The only reason I'm watching are the the leads as they are only decent characters even if they dont always make sense either. The deleted scenes were so badly edited out (actually just cut out with no regards for the story). Im still at ep 25 😅
So, I'm at ep 25... and there are some deleted scenes on the boat (i guess he kissed her and she bit his lip, and than after they probably made love) and it is so choppy and badly done... but my question is why these scenes were deleted but they kept the one when the emperor tried to rape her and when he made her stab the cousin 😵 doesnt make sense... if this is because of the censorship why is a kiss worse than attempted rape or murder? As well in other cdramas from 2022/23 i saw many steamy kisses and intimate scenes... doesnt add up 😑 i dont get how it works
I loved it, ending included. Maybe the mix of comedy and drama is not for everybodies taste, but it worked for me, even if I'm fan of more serious tones. I just wished they included the 2FL earlier on. All the main characters are loveable! Normally I get annoyed with 2ML as they usually make them nonsensical towards the end but here that is not the case. He is always wonderful. There are some bits and pieces that i didnt like but nothing major to spoil the watching for me. I wish they had more episodes to explore the other relationships but I was fine with glimpse in their lives too at the end
It seems a 2FL is coming, I'm hoping she will be nice and interesting. It seems she will be love interest of the SML, i just want him to be happy too 🥲
It's a good drama but I wouldn't say it's very serious. They have tried to incorporate modern things in a funny…
When I started watching it i thought it just gonna be comedy but the moment they introduced the King it became serious. They use humour to lighten it up so sometimes it goes from a super serious moment to complete comedy. And it works weirdly, i love the show so much now. All the three main characters are likeable and the actors are very good in balancing serious and comedy moments. Give it a couple of episodes to see if you enjoy it
This drama wasn't a masterpiece, too many plot holes that didn't make sense, but with that ending who cares about the plot holes 😅 I was never fan of Vincenzo for example but at least being a comedy as well I could just ignore some stuff and go on and be hapoy with the show. This one was trying to be serious and intelligent and it just failed. It was entertaining enough for me to wait episodes and watch them as they aired. It was a bit underwhelming in the last few episodes and the end was for me like any other 'cdrama time travelling ending', but than i reminded myself this is a korean drama and i wonder why did they make it finish like that 🤔 Webtoon ending made more sense and it was more in sync with the story (never really addressing the time travel in the first place). Regardless it was a good show and the most interesting character was the grandfather and his relationship with the ML (another reason why the ending was underwhelming for me).
I just can't go on, I really tried my best but cant find anything redemable in this drama, it just gets worse. The weird editing and pace of the story, too tropey, too many cliches and it gets worse, expecially the editing and story part, it feels so randomly put together. The secondary couple is the nail in the coffin... i cant believe they included that in the drama and whats worse gave it so much time! No comment. I won't rate it as the rating it would be too low 😅 And i dont like rating dramas that i dont personally like and didn't finish (or watch at least 2/3s). ps. And the FL plan to act stupid is just... stupid 🤷🏼♀️ ML too is not interesting enough. Don't get me wrong, nothing against the actors (even if Esther's over baby acting is not my cup of tea, but obviously it is well liked or else she wouldn't be typecast as this kind of character). I'm sure that both Esther and Vin Zhang can do better jobs, I will still check their future works
