I might be mistaken because i read the novel a decade ago, but didn't he marry someone for political reasons? I think the princess in question was even in love with him, but he didn't care, and she died eventually. So, yes, in the end he was alone, and rightfully so, because he did everything for power and vengeance.

After torturing myself by rewatching 58 episodes of Princess Agents, where she finally came to terms and realised that the YX she cared for is basically gone, I started watching Rebirth episode 1 and she has amnesia (for the second time in her life) and is still with YX instead of being actually away from him with her own plot and purpose. can someone tell me PLEASE that she regains her memory soon 😐😑😒

Why did the author think it was romantic for Yuwen to call her Xing'er AFTER she was free again? I mean, she was renamed when she became his property, when he decided to train her and make her a spy. Once she's free and remembers her real name, he keeps calling her the slave name he gave her because it makes him feel like he still owns her, she's his, he loves her, that is their connection, blah blah. I really don't get how that's romantic. It wasn't some cute nickname only he used between them, it was the slave name he forced on her and keeps forcing on her later. But it's so funny and romantic 😭 I know it is fiction, but these kinds of tropes irk me

I am rewatching it because of Rebirth, and I just can't believe how many things I literally hate in this drama 😅 I don't know if it is because on a second watch I am dissecting it more, or simply I forgot about the many things that got on my nerves

It is never sure in cdramaland. There are many novels with HE, and the drama version gets an SE or an OE for reasons beyond my comprehension. I am always scared 😱 😨 😫

When they announced season 2, I already knew it would be 💩, as the first season had a complete story that didn't need any add ons. I just want this Void arc to finish soon. I thought it would be more interesting, but I'm finding the ML's simping a bit over the top for my liking. And then you have the Right Hand as an extra to give me more grief. On the positive side, I do like Dilraba's costumes in this arc
