For a country that shows the awful effects of bullying in dramas like this, they still have such a huge problem…
AND, is it really so hard to look someone in the eye and tell them point-blank to "stop interfering or I'll start hating you?" The SFL is very much a trope, the only really unpleasant one in the series.
Technically he said that with a 2 year age gap, it doesn't matter to adults. I've encountered enough people IRL with a bigger age-gap romance that has fallen to pieces so I don't hold out much hope for it in reality. ;)
Added Sapuri because the ML and FL just had polar opposite personalities, work ethic, lifestyles, etc. It was such a horrible match. I like Kazuya Kamenashi and it was still a horrible match.
Hana Yori Dango because I wouldn't have wished the ML on anyone. He's abusive and bullying and no amount of childhood trauma can excuse that. The victim becoming his girlfriend just struck me as so wrong.
Disney loves digging its fingers into too many pies. They're nothing but a power-hungry machine now. This is just another example of that. Sorry to all the kdrama fans out there. I hope I'm wrong.
It's good to be like Jiang Xiao Ning.. Taking everything in a positive way
Completely agree, she's a pretty terrific character so far. Depending on what happens as the story progresses, she might end up being one of my favorite FL characters.
I agree. My Little Happiness with the same FL, Fair Xing, had waaay too many kissing scenes. The ML was all over…
Oh, was he? Hmmm, I really like Fair Xing a lot and was planning to watch My Little Happiness. Thanks for the heads' up, that might be too much kissing.
No offense, It's just my own opinion.I really don't understand why people want kiss scenes in every dramas. I'm…
I agree with you too. I'm just enjoying the pacing of this drama regardless of whether there's ever any major kissing scenes or not. It's given me lots of laughs, the actors are all terrific, and kissing is not necessary for my enjoying it. Thanks for saying something! ❤️
Interesting. So because I mentioned "Second Love" as a Japanese mature drama option not just in reply to someone but also as an original comment, it got flagged for deletion? I'm going to give the reasoning the benefit of the doubt. So I'm going to say it again, "Second Love" is a terrific and short mature drama with Kazuya Kamenashi as the ML, showcasing his mad dancing skills that he's developed over years as an idol. It's also pretty sexy without being over-the-top mature.
There's also Second Love (Japan) with Kazuya Kamenashi.
That's understandable. And you're right, Japan does mature dramas like champs. I don't watch that many tbh, but if I want one, it's always going to be one from Japan.
Hana Yori Dango because I wouldn't have wished the ML on anyone. He's abusive and bullying and no amount of childhood trauma can excuse that. The victim becoming his girlfriend just struck me as so wrong.
