Ok, so, I like the ML and the FL. They're cute, stupid, but cute.
BUT, I ADORE Cai Ya Si! He deserves better than his childhood friend and I SO WANT TO SEE the actor in ML romantic roles! He's absolutely the cutest! He reminds me of Kento Yamazaki in all the best ways! He is way more than support material!
Just curious, but why is he still acting? This just seems so wrong to me when Erika Karata's career seems ruined and people are just looking the other way with Higashide. Not that I was ever his fan, but still, it's just very one-sided here, as to who's bearing the brunt of the blame. The dude who cheated on his wife is pretty much responsible, two to tango and all that. He clearly made choices and he should feel some of that pain in terms of whether he can continue with his career or not. But it seems like he's getting a get-out-of-jail-free card and that pisses me off.

There's "Second Love" with Kamenashi Kazuya but the uploaded quality online isn't very good, unfortunately. Otherwise, the drama's pretty awesome (it's a dance drama). People love "Last Cinderella" with Haruma Miura although I haven't watched the whole thing. I hear it has a happy ending. "Buzzer Beat" is a basketball/music drama that has a good dramatic story and quite a bit of skinship later on, that's with Yamashita Tomohisa. There's also the 2017 "Kimi wa Petto" that has a lot of skinship and is just wonderful. It's also a dance drama. If you want something short, and I mean very short, then try "Hey, Sensei, Don't you Know" or "In House Marriage Honey." Those two don't have a lot of substance, but there's skinship and the relationships are sweet. Oh, and there's also the film "Make a Bow and a Kiss." That one's pretty heavy skinship-wise, but it's a pretty decent film. It just depends on what you're looking for storywise. You can find all but "Second Love" and "Buzzer Beat" subbed on Viki.

Mmm, it's probably because it's so short. I haven't watched it yet, but the shorter episode dramas never have enough time to develop relationships. You might try Kono Koi Atatamemasu ka if you want to try a different Japanese drama. People have been saying it's the most Kdrama feeling Jdrama they've ever seen, and it's pretty sweet. Not much skinship, but lots of time taken developing the main relationship. It also has the best secondary FL and ML I've really seen, both are extremely likeable. Just a really warm and inviting Jdrama.
And you feel the arrogant need to go prancing around waving your little superiority flag declaring that. You've given a prime example why I think MDL should get rid of the comments section. Because some people simply can't play nice.
Celebs are always held to a higher standard for their actions than normal people. Do I think that's right? Not necessarily. But he still shouldn't have cut and run like that because it does imply fleeing the scene so as not to get caught. I hope it doesn't permanently damage his future prospects although it probably will and I hope he learns from this experience.
I'm eagerly waiting on the final episode! This has been quite a ride, wow. The 9th episode! That was insane! I was rather suspicious, but it still caught me off guard!

Same here. That's about when I started crying, actually. Of course, anytime Kame gets emotional, I tend to cry. It's a weird side effect.
It really sounds like they have no actual evidence against Sensei which frustrates me. He's so darn smart! In cases like these, it's hard to catch the mastermind I hate to say it, but it might come down to Fushimi just killing him and ending the madness that way and being put behind bars. What a terrible thought, but it's possible!
