Episode 19th was my favourite in a while. Seeing Xiang Liu suppressing the power of the love bug, so Xiao Yao doesn't feel his heartbreak. He’s not so ruthless after all.

TJC is definitely slaying this role. I have seen him in the Court lady, in the Secret of the three kingdom, Twisted fate of love and Under the Skin and always knew he was a good actor. But sometimes, he came across a little bit feminine, I wasn’t sure if he can pull this complex bad boy off, but my god he is good! This eyes and the micro expressions tells the story without him saying it aloud. Great casting choice.

Finally someone who reads it the same way as me. She showed up near his resistance military camp. She looked like a man but sang like a women, clearly a spy. I follow his logic. Regarding him scheming with her sister, have you noticed he wasn’t being horrible to her. My guess, he was kind of testing her, if she would try to kill Xiao Yao. But when she said she doesn’t want that, he was kind to her.

In the book, she is actually on his lap, when this entire conversation happens. If she would truly opened up to him, she would fall for him completely. But there is the inevitable fight with Zhuan Xuan in the future. I think he is a bit angry with himself.

That scene where he gets angry is not in the book, but I would imagine that’s how he would react to the news. In the book he is so nonchalant about her identity, it’s like he knew a long time.

I really don’t think he ever thought to be with her, he always wanted her to be happy, even when that means be happy with someone else. But he was hurt when he thinks she lied to him. Now he knows they are on the opposite sides of the battlefield.
