Where do I watch it eng sub
I checked all the usual sites and subbers, but couldn't find anyone with English subs. Sorry! Are you a fan of Iwamoto Hikaru and/or Shiraishi Mai?

No guess but please spill the beannnn! Haha
It's a drama I didn't watch-- Hosokyoku Senkyo, at #6 all-time. By the way, Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo has added over 20,000 new subscribers in the two days I've since posted originally. Now it's at about 1,408,000 subscribers, perhaps good for 8th highest of all-time.
Episode 3 is so cute, with Tatsunosuke (Iwamoto Teru) guarding an elementary school kid for a day. I also enjoy the jealousy erupting from Rika (Shiraishi Mai) over Tatsunosuke's new co-worker, played by Narumi Riko. This 2nd season is so far, so good. Perhaps a candidate for my Fall 2025 Top Five?

This show has now entered into the Top 10 rankings for the highest watchlisted drama ever on TVer. It stands at about 1,381,000 subscribers, good for 9th highest of all-time. Surprisingly, there is another drama from this year that tops even this series, as far as subscriber numbers! Would anyone like to venture a guess?

Title Escape
I’ve really love this series, so I’ve been subbing it every week alongside Buzz Until You Die!! These are…
Thanks for your hard work. We might have the same taste for dramas, as the two that you are subbing are among my favorites this season!
On Buzz until You Die!! Oct 31, 2025
Really enjoying this show. Yoda Yuuki is absolutely, stunningly pretty. And the story is really good, too. For me, it's the sleeper hit of this season, hands down. Sure, there's bigger dramas out there with bigger names and all, but this one packs a punch for its small audience and probably, small budget. Then again, I'm only into the 3rd episode of 10, so things can turn south, as a lot of dramas go. Until then, I'm enjoying the ride!
On Then You Try Making It! Oct 26, 2025
This is one of the hottest dramas in Japan, at least on the TVer streaming site. Here's some recent information I gathered on it.

① # of people who favorited Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo (TVer users who have this show on their watchlist)... 1,247,000
This show is by far the most favorited drama. By contrast, another high-ranking drama, The Right to Judge (Mamiya Shotaro, Araki Yuko), is at 819,000. Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo has vaulted into the Top 20 Dramas Ever, as far as TVer watchlists go.

② # of total Likes 👍(through 3 episodes)... approximately 144,000
I think this is the more accurate gauge of how popular a show is. Another popular show, ESCAPE: Sore wa Yuukai no Hazudatta (Sakurada HIyori, Sano Hayato), through 3 episodes, has 101,000 Likes.

③ According to a TBS article, episode 1 has been watched over 5 million times combined on the TVer and TBS Free sites, while episode 2 is approaching 4 million views. These are both records for a TBS Tuesday night drama. It has been considered as a rival to Vivant in terms of popularity.

I've never seen this before and just started it on Hulu because I heard its connected to Kawaii dake ja dame kashira?…
Thanks for the reply. Yes, it sure is connected to Kawaii dake ja dame kashira, with many of the same actors and even a re-enactment of Osorubeshi. Yes, this show was over-the-top. You have to be in the right mood to accept all of Otonashi Karen's actions. You gotta admit, her character is one of dedication, effort, and faithfulness. You can fault her for everything else, though!

so fun! it's also getting a good response in Japan!tv ratings:Ep1 6.3%Ep2 7.0%
Yeah, it might be the biggest hit commerical TV drama this season! Here's some findings of mine:

Selected TVer 📺Japan 🗾 Drama Like 👍Data for October 18, 2025

This is a list of some of the high ranking dramas in Japan now, according to the number of likes👍on the streaming site, TVer📺, available only to ISP's in Japan🗾. The numbers are always changing, but they give a roughly good idea of the popularity of a particular show. Admittedly, there are the factors of airing times as well as maniacal fan button pushing, so take this ranking with a grain of salt. And as the Fall season has only just started, there are of course some dramas that won't make the list.
*** This data represents the current approximate number of likes👍 for EPISODE 1 of said drama.***

#1 Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo (Kaho, Takeuchi Ryoma) 56,000👍
#2 ESCAPE: Sore wa Yuukai no Hazudatta (Sakurada HIyori, Sano Hayato) 43,000👍
#3 Papa to Oyaji no Uchi Gohan (Matsushima So, Shirasu Jin) 38,000👍
#4 Hito Natsu no Kyohansha (Hashimoto Masaki, Tsunematsu Yuri) 34,000👍
#5 The Royal Family (Tsumabuki Satoshi) 32,000👍
#6 (Tie) Fake Mommy (Haru, Kawaei Rina) 31,000👍
The Right to Judge (Mamiya Shotaro, Araki Yuko) 31,000👍

It's pretty clear that Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo, is heads and shoulders above the rest of the pack, so far. I would generally agree- Kaho may be a strong draw, but to me, Takeuchi Ryoma is an even stronger magnet to getting people to push that Like👍button. But perhaps bigger than the two ML's, the romantic aspects, the comedic story, smart dialog, and high production value, is the catchy cuisine that plays a big part in this show.

Love this list. Not me searching Chikuzen-ni after ep 1, I haven't even tried it myself
Thanks for your reply. Glad you enjoy the list. It will change over the next few weeks. Still waiting for some dramas to be added to the MDL database. So keep tuned in! BTW, chikuzen-ni is commonly eaten here in Japan. But as Takeuchi Ryoma aptly showed the viewing public, it's not as easy as it looks. Also, depending on the location, the ingredients, and even the name Chikuzen-ni, changes!

Yeah, I liked that scene too. I just wished they didn’t spoil it with the way the show started.
