Episode 8 was so far the best. Of course the fighting was good. But also the romance! For 7 episodes I was happy with Kenta and Miku as a couple, but now I feel like destiny has come knocking on the door and maybe it should be Kenta and Aoi instead. Two more episodes and things will be straightened out.

Agreed. The first two episodes are up, and I watched them both. By the way, for comparison's sake, the most recent Meguro Ren drama, Umi no Hajimari, has 1,700,000 following it. This is also a big number, but quite a bit less. Then again, Silent aired during a time when many people in Japan stayed home a lot more...

This is being re-run on TVer here in Japan now. It's got nearly 2,300,000 people following it. That's a lot of people interested in this drama.

I’m just so happy with the mostly positive, loving relationship the two share. It’s a refreshing change from some other couples’ relationships in other dramas this season . I love how Inukai’s character just suddenly hugs his wife and tells her he loves her.

That Kurose character is also gonna be a threat.

Thanks. I still enjoy the drama. It’s just that the show has not had much in the way of Doki-doki moments if you ask me. I feel like this drama is rated G—a kiss or even a hug would be inappropriate between two humans.

Episode 4 was a whopper of a romantic comedy show! It had scandal, lies, accusations, jealousy, I love you's, wife leaving husband, Prince on a White Horse, love triangle, Japanese tea garden, handkerchief trope, confrontation, indecision, admission of love, reconciliation, and more! Just one thing was missing though...

Marin and Wakana go to the same high school as Machi and Yuto from Watashi no Machi no Chiba-kun wa! Or at least they share the same pool...

I guess it’s because he never contacted her for ten years? That’s very sad and mean-spirited. But he did quickly warm up to and has now even fallen in love with her. I wonder who is the worst husband this fall TV drama season- him, the husband from Watashi no Takaramono, or the husband in Rikon Koya. Anyways I’m cheering for them to come to love each other.

RE: Episode 7

Just when things are getting good between Hokko and Kairi he's gotta up and disappear to the City of Sin. Well, we needed an excuse for a love triangle, although Mr. Oba's side is very weak to begin with. Everything about Hokomi revolves around Kairi. There's no room for a guy who can't even ride a bicycle.

I enjoy the action and story, of course, but I'm surprised at the heart-pounding (mune-kyun) scenes between Kenta and Miku. I'm cheering for Wingman and defeating evil and all, but I'm also hopeful for some romance (although can't expect much from junior high schoolers) between the two. Maybe even some love-triangle thrown in there for good measure, via our alien ally Yume Aoi.

This drama started off high on my list of Mune-kyun (heart-pounding) dramas for fall 2024, but recently it's been a string of swings and misses. I had it ranked second behind Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru for quite a long time, but because of all the trouble between Mirucmachi and Sunagoya it's fallen all the way down to #9. I hope Kahori's new love interest, Eto Kouki, played by Inoue Sora, will liven things up again.
