The Song-Song couple had their honeymoon in Spain.
That Hallyu ban being lifted... erm - why ban time travel? Half of Chinese novels is about time travel in some aspect. OMG, that gov was really reaching for something. Haha.
brrr that sounds really cold! Makes sense they would have supplies of coats on hand. Thanks for the insider info!!…
Not just 'supplies of coats'. Yo can get these padded down jackets in literally any clothing store from October to February, and most are always on sale, so no, it's not very expensive. The opposite is true though - the cashmere etc coats are the ones going for 200 to 400 USD. Down coats and jackets are so much more affordable.
It's not expensive. They are always on sale. And basically, one style fits all.
You can get them in literally any clothing store. And yes, most are always on sale, or like 50 - 100 usd.
I think it's because they do a lot of recycling so down isn't so expensive to make and sell. It's not an option to recycle as it is in the US or UK. It's your actual garbage routine.
When you have to walk around in sub-freezing temperatures , a down-filled padded coat becomes your best friend! But…
Layers are not stylish, and you can wear a dress, or normal cute outfit under those down jackets. Ofc, you need a coat to match the outfit, so people have a few. It's also not that expensive and they are always on sale in early winter.
Erm.... living in Asia, so I can tell you, those coats have been staples for years because its so ***fing cold. Some are bulky and shapeless, some are shapely, some have nice designs etc. It may be a 'fashion trend' now because so many westerners are becoming aware of it, but no, it's not a new thing. Down jackets are just survival instinct for the growing amount of people who don't like to layer. Layers are awful, in my opinion, and I can just wear a nice short dress or a cute top under that down jacket.
And it's 'trending' because it's been freezing here since early November. Therefore, when filming, stars have to use it. Saw a few filming sites with stars shivering. It's really biting cold on cloudy days - which is most days.
I’m considering watching this I want to watch for the lead couple..How would you describe their chemistry so…
So far, worth shipping, but with a lot of patience since these weekday shows lets the leads know each other thoroughly before hey fall in love. No love at first sight here. However, the 2nd male lead will piss you off.
I marathoned all 21 episodes so far, and I can't say I like what I see, but I can say I'm 20% interested.
The show is not bad. In fact, the first few episodes are great. However, the main leads have very little screen time - even less than the side characters. And they have even less time with each other on-screen.
I don't like the secondary characters. Most of the time they are annoying and unlikable, but I kept watching to see how they will affect the next stage in the leads' lives.
I love Eun Jo and her family, and Suk Pyo and his family. The rest of them could salt, especially the 2 or 3 gold diggers lurking around. They get on my nerves so much. The show made me care for the 2 families and I don't like to see them threatened by selfish people.
But this is a daily drama, so I'm shit outta luck.
Actually tbh, the main leads are boring. But the fact that the side characters are interesting that makes it going…
It does make sense. Not everyone who's charming, handsome, sweet, attentive, and kind actually is. Serial kidnappers, killers etc. they know how to put up a front (even if it's part of their real personality) to get what they want i.e. feed the hunger inside them.
Just because a guy is handsome, or rich and handsome even (I'm looking at you Fifty Shades) does not mean everything he does is excusable. Or that women must chase after him and not the other way around, that he's not hiding a deep dark soul. You never actually know.
Moral - be wary and careful. Even of a pretty, charming, face.
From experience - handsome faces are douches a lot of the time.
Ho Rang is ridiculous. She doesn't even have to listen to him. Just sit and watch while he talks. She's not ready to marry. She just wants to be married cause she's old. That's a valid reason, but understand the guy a little.
I kinda gave up....I dont know where we are, is he alive or what?
Another entity is using his body. May hbeis soul is lingering, maybe the two souls are merging, maybe they are sharing the body, or maybe it's something else entirely. intriguing .
In case you didn't get it, his character was pretending to be a horrible detective. He has a secret room, and hid a lot of information from his co-workers. That's not an incompetent detective, just someone trying to throw others off. I suspected the body was being used by someone else (the ghost in the beginning) for some other case. It was only speculation, but with that ending, I think I'm safe - what with the supernatural entity waking up in the body.
And SSH's acting as the wishy washy detective rubbed me the wrong way, as it did you, clearly. However, since he was acting as the worst detective he could possibly be, I think his acting succeeded. And the last scene, I thought - "Ah - now we get the real SSH role."
