Hey, a dose of reality in comparison - I really like Queen Elizabeth, but she and her government/ people did many horrible things to people in the colonization era. Maybe not as bad as the Japanese, but still. Until today, Queen Elizabeth has never been punished, never showed remorse, and has not given back an inch of what her country and her treasury stole from other nations. There are no intentions to do any of this either.

My favorite character is the Brother-in-law. He loves his wife so much, and does what is best for the family. He loves the twins so much too, and won't hand his sister-in-law off to just anybody. He chose the best for her. I love him a little lol. On Ep 11. He reminds me of Gu Tingye in "Minglan". Even the marriage between the Brother in law and his wife reminds me of the marriage of Gu Tingye and Minglan.

She plays a younger character though, right? How believable are their looks - the ML playing an older male, the FL playing a much younger female?

It didn't do that well because of all of the promises the show made, only to end like that. I understand it's the producers and screenwriters' faults. I blame them because in that profession, you should know when and where in the script to stop. Korea is plagued with screenwriters who don't know when to stop, or add more. They have such poor timing and ruin the future job prospects of everyone involved.

How is that funny? By the by, the events in the book was very far from funny.

I agree, she's not really strong. If she was, she'd have followed her heart instead of following orders to marry the general. In my humble opinion, both the bro and the general were sending up red flags of "using you, using you! Not really caring if you live or die, once you complete the mission for me."

Can someone give me more information? From the synopsis in the book and this drama, Fu Chou (mistakenly) sends her to be raped and disgraced in front of 10,000 people. Why does everyone still sing Fu Chou's praises? I want more perspective before I watch, and I also want to understand. How is it possible to forgive someone after that?

Rewatching this for the 4th time after many years. The first 3 times, I was blinded by the adorable realistic romance. Honestly, the main leads and the villain carried this show. it was a mess otherwise.

I'm on ep 11 and I just need to say the following:
I ate Ji Sook's lack of backbone. I always hated it, but rewatching it now, I wonder how I was blindsided by the romance. Min Woo deserves more from her. I like her, because the actress did an awesome acting job, and also want Min Woo to have a person he can rely on. She needs to step up. She never gets as strong as the original woman. This is why I like b***hes more.

I hate Ji Sook's family. Her bro could only cause trouble for her and her family only uses her as a money horse, despite all the crying. Her mom, sure she's sick but she's so goddamn stubborn.

Hope this has no cheating like Moorisam Sawat.

Does she divorce her husband in the series? If so, what episode? I hope it's early because I want the main ship to sail the high seas lol.
