I love second chance romance tropes, but this was not it

I had been waiting for this drama since February, i really had high hopes for it as a fan of second chance tropes, i also quite like the cast but... disappointment hits. Even if i tried convincing myself to watch it without pressing the fast forward button, it was way to hard.

What I liked (atleast):
- Basically both couples (FL&ML, FL's best friend/Second Lead) were concerningly toxic somehow? The only couple i liked was Xu Chen Xi and Wang Yi even though xu chen xi was kinda annoying in the early eps they're relationship was the most decent and normal out of the rest.

Things I disliked :
- I really hated when FL was in debt she pushed away ML, then when ML was in debt he pushed away FL like?? This drama literally illustrated having a relationship was just an accessory or when you feel like it, confusing, irritating, and just drains your will to watch it. The whole story was very draggy
- ML and FL's chemistry lacked, their romance did not hit it.
- I also didn't like where ML had supposedly saved FL in her monthly period like? It's literally normal, she has it every month and how come only this time she wasn't prepared. The scene was just forced.

Honestly there are alot of thing im unhappy about I had some expectations for this drama and i must say I'm disappointed. Chemistry was lacking, cinematography wise is also boring. I tried to hold it until the last episode. I felt the whole story was concerningly lacking, depth and stuff. What a waste honestly.

This drama illustrated those teenage years, coming of age and slice of life.

It's extremely touching.. Definitely recommend watching this!! The drama is overall a heart-warming, nostalgic vibe, personally it is healing. I didn't really watch this for any of the cast, I was just interested, no regrets whatsoever!
The family life was so warm, it legit made me tear up. The issues the characters faced were realistic and I feel it may relate to certain people, I also did find myself relating to some of the issues. What stood out to me was how they show affection, how I genuinely feel how heartwarming it is. No kiss scenes needed, I really liked the pairings as well despite Qian Jia Yue and Mao Tou having an open ending I must say.
Overall definitely giving this drama a try!
