Can a novel reader briefly introduce/spoil the ML's real identity? He is apparently not the real Duan Xu...so who is he and how does he already know the FL's identity? Thank you!

Just a question, how did you know it was Murong Yao that was under the mask? Not going to lie, I also did suspect him due to slight similarities of the eyes, but I thought he was the ML's best buddy/childhood friend! That would be so sad - the ML has lost everyone... :(
This is the most random drama...maybe it's because I haven't read the novel but I feel like there was no context at the start and we were just thrown into the plot and expected to accept it. The FL (barely any background info provided) doesn't question the fact that she just migrated into a fantasy world and acts exaggeratedly "cute" or "clueless"?! Also the ML's acting is very monotone and bland, as most of his emotions/thoughts are narrated through the "voice in his head" rather than being acted out. This drama so far is far from what I expected (albeit I didn't have much expectations to begin with) and I tried to see if it would get better, but I'm just left more perplexed. Everyone else seems to be enjoying it...I guess to each their own. I can't see the bigger picture/ purpose of this plot let alone what there is to explore for 33 eps, maybe the synopsis didn't do the story justice...

It technically hasn't been revealed yet because even the ML doesn't know what happened. But he mentions that he was knocked unconscious and when he woke up, he saw his master's state and wanted to try to save him and just as he was taking out the first needle, the FL walked in on the scene. At the time, the ML also had his tongue/throat paralysed so he couldn't speak. As for the older men on the boat, they were also 'induced into a coma' (I believe by the incense). The ML believes that there might've been another person on the boat with them at the time (hiding under the floorboards), but this hasn't been confirmed.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but does anyone know when this show was filmed (i.e. if the couples are still dating, how long would they have been together)? Thanks!!

This may be because Xing Chen is still in the relatively early stages, but I feel like Ji Xing is quite an emotional person that sometimes tends to think with her heart rather than her head (as seen in how she approached the problem that arose in ep 24)... I feel like at this stage, she is not the most ideal CEO/head of the company and may even run into problems in the future. Hopefully she learns from this experience and becomes stronger and more rational/objective!

I think lili ends up with the ceo's friend, not su zhou zhou :) it was revealed in a map of relationships that su zhou zhou's love for lili is one sided.

Could you spoil for me whether the ML's female friend from Germany will play a big role? Will she be a large obstacle in the ML and FL's relationship, or will it be resolved relatively early and not until the last 10 eps? Thank you!
