Yeah, I'll be honest. This is my first time seeing ForceBook in a series and Force is acting circles around Book. I'm really hoping he improves in this.

I’m also interested to see how that aspect plays out. I didn’t expect to be so cut and dry on who would or should end up with who, but it felt like the show firmly established the unrequited crushes had no chance of becoming a reality within the very first episode. I expected more development that made us question which direction we wanted it go.

I think it’ll all pull together, but it’s very possible the pairs are going to be a lot less messy and all over the place than the trailers made it seem.

Can we appreciate how they don’t mute their mics during kiss scenes? Most shows will completely replace it with music. I really like how they just play the music overtop, I think it makes for a better and more passionate scene overall.

Mark was the original casting for Cooking Crush, which supports the theory they were experimenting with cementing them together. He is still on the cover.

I wouldn’t mind it either way. I think they’re great together, but I’m not somebody who needs the same couple casted every time.

I’ve been really rooting for this series to succeed so it can establish there’s a huge appetite out there for darker, edgier BL from GMMTV. Fingers crossed the great reception inspires them to do more.

Oh my god, is that Khaotung? He did so good. It really is one of their best songs.

I’m sure having two of the top couplings in the cast definitely helps as well. Still, that’s more than I expected!

I think they’ve been experimenting with older or less popular pairings recently to find ones that really hit it off. Especially with actors they like using.

NeoLouis never really had the fanbase all the other main BL actor pairings do, but GMMTV absolutely loves casting Neo. He is everywhere. Mark also doesn’t have a super clearly established partner so they’re basically two prioritized actors not in a strong coupling.

They might keep NeoMark a thing going forward with how positive the reception has been right off the bat.

Yep. NeoMark’s chemistry is just as great as I knew it’d be. I will now be rewatching their kiss scene until I die.

Really great first episode and I’m glad to see the series is getting recognition already. I hope this marks a turning point in GMMTV to release more mature BLs once in a while, the hype has already been insane compared to other recent series.

Also, one of their best opening songs ever. So freaking good.
