I noticed that too and I've been wondering more and more if that's deliberate. Because sometimes he loses all…
To be honest, it seemed to me he was trying to do big, babyish eyes to convey the innocence of his character and it just wasn’t really working for some reason.
But who knows? Maybe later down the line it’ll reveal he’s intentionally dissociating to try and avoid emotional attachments because of trust issues or some other kind of mental gymnastics. 😂
Watched this last August and to this day, it's the first and only BL I have ever watched(and will). Idk why y'all…
Who cares if the actors are straight? Why are you even concerned about their sexualities in a sex scene that is supposed to take place in a story between two fictional characters?
The actors are simply helping tell the story. The character’s love and attraction is very real and it’s the only thing you should be considering.
You talk about it like the actors in straight dramas are really in love with each other. It’s all acting, that is literally the point.
I loved it! Gawin did so good. That kiss in front of the camper where he looks conflicted and hurt but still can’t help but kiss Kawi back was excellently acted, you could feel his yearning. Toward the end of the series, especially when he was gazing at him in bed, Kawi’s lovestruck eyes were so cute.
Did anyone else notice the weird reverb effect that they seemed to forget to turn off during certain scenes? 😅
Book’s acting is kind of a flop for me so far. He still has the rest of the series to put the work in, but this is my first time seeing him in a series and he instantly felt the least experienced on the cast.
I don’t think it’s a script issue. He just seems to not be really ‘into it’ for some reason.
