Yeah, Rain was really unlikeable for me too. He is so dumb with no redeeming qualities at all. Sky can be really silly and a little slow too, but not to the same degree whatsoever.
Watched the first episode and really hoping it’s not this slow for the entire rest of the series. Felt like every scene in school with Manaow was filler.
First of all, just wanna say that Fort’s acting was really damn good in the finale.
His eyes are amazingly expressive. He did a good job showing the pain of watching someone you love suffer, and he has a way of looking at Peat like he’s his entire world. Some actors cannot sell the look of being in love, but he does it really effortlessly.
I actually liked Pai and Sky’s chemistry much more than Rain and Phayu, but looks like I’m in the minority. The moments where Pai is gazing at Sky in sheer adoration are the cutest in the series. Peat being unable to make tears was distracting at times, but not the end of the world. Rain and Phayu weren’t bad, and the bathroom scene between them (as well as that brief tongue touch in a later episode) is one of the hottest things in the genre, but Noeul’s performance kinda sucked and Rain was a very one-dimensional character on top of that.
Overall, cute show with solid sex scenes and decent drama. Lots of tropes, but I’m happy with it for what it was.
Also, does anyone know if Zhen Xuan and Shou Yi got together in the end? Was the dancing and kiss just a dream sequence or what?
