I thought it was pretty neat. Good acting. It’s nice to watch a film that seems unafraid to approach the chosen subject matter. It goes all out on both the plot and the underlying themes, which can feel shocking, but often dark subject matter is approached way more shyly in dramas and this slaps you right across the face.

Pretty rare kind of movie. If you can stomach non-consensual stuff in your fiction, worth watching.

A little uncanny at times with the animal resemblance and constant airbrushed skin filters, but overall a nice watch.

Choco’s laughter throughout the entire series was definitely a highlight. Milk really sold the bedroom eyes when looking closely at Uncle’s face, they were my favorite pair between the two. The casting for every character was really good. By the looks of it, nobody really understands what the hundred-day time limit at the end is about, so that was clearly just poorly explained. Choco said the mission was ‘easier the second time’ so I have no idea why it took two years to come back. Are we just assuming that they have to redo the trials to recross the rainbow bridge repeatedly, then end up back in their human bodies for some random short amount of time? Rinse and repeat?

Overall, worth watching. Cute, unique, doesn’t make a lot of sense but good chemistry between both pairs to make up for it.

In contrast, Sky had trust issues due to his trauma and it was satisfying to see him slowly overcome them. Pai was a playboy falling in love, and it was satisfying to watch his entire personality soften up as his priorities shifted from messing around to making one boy love him back. Rain and Payu had none of that, they just kinda immediately wanted to fuck and nothing important ever happened.

Thank you! It was actually that scene with both of them as kids, one performing the fight scene on stage and one behind the curtain that convinced me to wait.

To My Star, Blueming, Semantic Error, We Best Love and My Tooth Your Love would be my recommendations! They have a similar vibe (fluffy and hopeful with a side of angst) and similarly great production quality.

Chemistry between the leads is basically the most important thing for me, so I’ll keep pushing through! I want to give the couple a proper chance even if the show isn’t all that great. I’ll know to lower my expectations until mid-series, thank you!

Just finished the first episode and I did not like it at all. Boring, dragged on, the exposition was so unnatural and poorly written that it was painfully clear conversations between characters were solely intended to explain plot points to an audience. And on top of that? Confusing and rushed in all the wrong places.

Maybe I’ll come back to it when I’m feeling a little more patient, because that was grueling.

I’m glad to know I’m not alone! Yeah, I do think knowing yourself and your comfort zone and respecting that is really important. Just because one person can handle it doesn’t mean it’s good for another. Luckily, there’s many other stories with happy endings for us to enjoy.

Does anybody know where I can watch this in good quality?

All of the free versions I’ve found online so far have super crunchy audio and aren’t the best visually either. I’ve been putting off watching it until Viki adds it, but at this rate, it seems like that’s not anytime soon.

I watched the first twenty minutes of the first episode and once I realized how good it’s gonna be, I was like ‘I have to watch this in better quality for my first time.’ I just legitimately can’t find it anywhere though, even the Vimeo paid rental links seem to be removed.

I’m so glad it isn’t just me who was super bothered by that! It looked like First just kept breaking kisses and moving his head to avoid more and then he’d just rub his face around Ja’s neck instead, not even really kissing it. It’s so awkward.
