She’s in Between Us? Does it take place in the events of UWMA? I was under the impression Between Us was a continuation, but I haven’t looked into it.

I'm so irritated by my inability to watch sad endings. This looks beautiful. I just cannot enjoy it safely since I'm prone to spiraling into pretty severe depressions over deeply emotional fictional stuff and it would not be good for my mental health.

Maybe one day I'll be strong enough to enjoy this kind of thing. Or maybe I'm just a big baby.

Thank you for the thorough explanation! I was super curious because I haven't had the time to start this recently. Now I feel like I have a better idea of the pacing and will probably binge it the next time I'm craving a very slow burn romance.

If you like lots of predictable fluff, manufactured drama and sugary sweetness, plus a few spicy scenes, you’ll like it.

If you’re super picky with plot and characters it might annoy you.

Rewatched an episode of this and it really reminded me how bad the kissing during intimate scenes can be.

I will always love Ja, but First’s kissing is the worst I have ever seen in any drama. Why does he keep breaking their kisses just to weirdly rub his face around Ja’s neck like that? It’s so awkward. It’s like he’s avoiding having his lips in contact with Ja as much as possible.

I haven’t had a chance to watch this yet. Has First’s kissing gotten any less horrible since Don’t Say No?

Have always loved Ja, but First’s ‘attack the neck’ kissing strategy is pretty painful to watch in DSN.

For fluffy stuff? To My Star, Blueming, Semantic Error and We Best Love are awesome. Love In The Air is super spicy and fluffy but not as good as the others.

For non-fluffy but very good series, KinnPorsche, HIStory 3: Trapped, and Not Me are all the best of BL overall!

I was really hoping they’d learn from the series itself and pay attention to the audio issues, but it seems like they straight up don’t care at this point. 🤷‍♀️

No problem, I’m looking forward to it too! I’m thinking we’ll probably get more updates early 2023 and then the series will start airing near the middle or end of the year. But if we don’t hear anything in 2023, it’s likely cancelled.

Casually adding this to my Not Interested list. Watching this, as overemotional as I am and as much I despise sad endings, would be the death of me. I’m sure it’s a beautiful series though.

Just finished and holy shit, this was awesome. Everything I wanted and more. I loved it!

Is there actually a gay couple in this or is it just subtext? I’ve been hoping for a BL-like series where romance takes a back seat, but the couple is still canonical and has at least one kiss.

Do they end up together? Gotta know if something has a happy ending before I watch it.

Nice to know you enjoyed it. I'll ask someone else then. I don't watch anything where a couple gets a sad ending, so it's safer for me to intentionally spoil a series for myself to avoid anything too heavy.
