Really solid series but didn’t quite blow my mind in the way I expected it to considering the ratings.
Chemistry could have been a little stronger, maybe a few more intimate moments that weren’t overpowered by music and slow motion editing. Sometimes it felt like Lee Tae Vin wasn’t bringing as much to the role as he could have, with the exception of a handful of emotional scenes I think he excelled in. I have a few nitpicks with the pacing of Myung Ha falling in love with Yeo Woon as well, since it had the tendency to feel inconsistent.
That being said, Cha Joo Wan’s performance was just perfection all the way through.
I want to watch the first season but knowing the main couple is doomed in the second season has kind of ruined my motivation.
These boys can do so good in a serious setting, please don’t cast them in these uninspired romantic comedies.
