For a BL series on MDL, 8 and above is considered great.

Stopped after episode three and waiting for the finale to air before I binge the rest. All the drama sounds painful to wait for week to week.

On the second episode and I love this so far. It’s so amazingly cheesy and the banter between the three friends is great.

Anyone have any idea when the next HIStory is coming?

It’s sweet so far but the lead character is really unoriginal and boring. Especially compared to the LI.

I’m digging it. Shin’s stoicism works really interestingly in contrast with Peach’s warmth and their kiss was very tenderly acted from both of them.

Guide is so charming. He’s like the sweetest Golden Retriever boy with those big puppy eyes.

I loved the FUTS style of humor. I’m excited to start this now if it’s at all similar!

Also, I was so shocked that Ryuji showed up to the fireworks festival! I spent most of the series waiting for that ‘big conflict’ and I was fully confident that’d be the one it was building up to.

It’s such a trope nowadays that when he showed up, I had to do a double-take. 😂

An adorable little series. They wanted to tell a simple love story and they did it well.

That being said, those kisses were ass. Literally laughably bad angle.

Nice watch, but didn’t maintain the quality of the first episode for me. I was under the impression I’d like it a lot more than I did by the very end.

That first kiss was so soft and sweet, I have no idea why so many people complained about it.

I absolutely agree with you. I don’t mind straight people playing gay roles in a broad sense, but the fact that gay actors are hardly ever casted is a shame.

Just in case you’re looking, some BL actors who are openly gay or bisexual are: Earth (My Only 12%, Until We Meet Again), Fluke (Until We Meet Again), Mew (TharnType), Holland (Ocean Likes Me), Gun Korawit (mostly supporting roles), Newyear (I Am Your King) and Ten (Gay OK Bangkok.) I can’t vouch for the quality of the series but feel free to check them out if you want to support some gay dramas starring a gay or bi man.
