I'm just happy with Guo Guo and Yun Kai's bit of happiness in the end. Needed it after Fifteen Years to Wait for Migratory Birds. The actor and actress make a great couple.
I finished Fifteen Years to Wait for Migratory Birds yesterday but only just realized in that drama, Li Yun Zhe had an unrequited love for Guo Guo for nearly 4 years! I don't know why this amuses me so much but it really does.
Despite my initial dislike for the whole ring thing, it turned out sweeter than I thought! The message that the exterior doesn't always represent what's inside was one I'm glad Se Gun and Tae Hyun realized. Also, random Yoon Shi Yoon cameo in the end - is that a reference to some other drama? Loved Kim Seul Gi; she's so cute and so talented. Ahn Hyo Seop reminds me so much of a mixture of Kim Woo Bin and Nam Joo Hyuk; he really is handsome. I loved her parents too.
Quite liked this! I was watching Because of You and liked the main couple so I watched this one. Deng Lun's character is so different in this drama compared to Li Yun Kai in BOY but honestly, he ended up being my favourite. I think I'm a sucker for a bad-guy-turned-sweetheart.
In a perfect world, I'd like to think she didn't choose either Yan (who seemed to be returning to go to her) or Mao (who made good on breaking his promise by streaking in the streets - I couldn't stop laughing because I mean, naked Wallace Huo running through the streets!). My reasoning being that:
Yan - yes, there was a ton of chemistry there but he expected her to follow him. It would have been her doing the same as when she was 18 with Mao - giving up her dreams to follow the man. Also, I didn't like that he moved on so quickly and that it was because she didn't want to sleep with him. I was rooting for Yan until that point.
Mao - while throughout the movie you could see his appreciation and recognition of her returning, I feel like he always placed his interests above hers. I do recognize that for a man like Mao to stand naked in a street begging for forgiveness and a second chance is no average feat but Mao has a history of swallowing his pride to get what he wants - for example, the great iPad search and his butt-kissing for Mr Gao. It would be only too easy for him to get bored another ten years down the line since it's happened before.
My wish for the ending (which was left kind of open in my opinion) would be for her to choose neither man. She can either find someone who will appreciate and support her from the start or just live happily with her friend, content with her life and career.
Like most comments I've seen, this popped in my Recommended section on YouTube and I couldn't be happier. I went through a wild ride on this movie, switching between like and dislike for Little Liang vs Big Liang and Yan vs Mao. I was hooked and nervous approaching the ending which was so immensely satisfying and I'm pleased. Most of all, I love watching her journey of finding herself and being happy with her life.
Can someone tell me in which episode that they find out she's Ye Bin/she regains her memory? I usually hate amnesia plots but I got sucked into this drama.

This article is one of the reasons why I don't understand why dramas like Itazura Na Kiss, Boys over Flowers and You're Beautiful have multiple adaptations. But then on the other hand, I still end up watching them anyway.
Only thing that could have made the ending better was actually having "A-Li's baby brother" show up! So glad to see things end well for these wonderful characters. My heart is squealing in pleasure.
As much as I love Kim Seul Gi and find that male lead attractive, after 4 episodes, I'm really not liking where they're going with this "change your appearance to his ideal type to make him fall for you" idea. Anyone else feeling this?
Tip for anyone who just wants to see the highlights of the love line: watch episode 47 (if you're not on a team), episode 48 (if you're a Song Yi supporter) and episode 49 (if you're a Lu Li Cheng supporter). Episodes 48 and 49 recap each couple's moments in the beginning.
I didn't do this but I kind of wish I did!
I liked how feisty Su Man was against Lu Li Cheng; their scenes were my favourite. Other than that, not much love for her although she's absolutely stunning and reminds me of one of my favourites, Liu Shi Shi.
Wait, wait, WAIT. The description says In Gook Doo has had an 'unrequited crush on her since elementary school'?! REALLY?! That makes me so happy, omg. He was cold in the first episode so I'm hoping we see this soon.
Also, why does Ji Soo look so much better than me in a dress?!

On that note: yeesh, I hate Su Jin.
